By little and little I will drive them out from before thee, until thou art fruitful, and possess the land.

וְנָחַלְתָּ֖ (נָחַלְתָּ֖) na.chal.Ta “you will possess”

Remember Abraham, Isaac and Israel, thy servants, to whom thou sworest by thyself, and saidst to them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give to your seed, and they shall possess [ergänzt: it] for ever!

וְנָחֲל֖וּ (נָחֲל֖וּ) na.cha.Lu “they will possess [it]”

and said, If indeed I have found grace in thine eyes, Lord, let the Lord, I pray thee, go in our midst; for it is a stiff-necked people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for an inheritance!

וּנְחַלְתָּֽנוּ׃ (נְחַלְתָּֽ) ne.chal.Ta. “you will take as a possession”

And ye shall leave them as an inheritance to your children after you, to inherit them as a possession: these may ye make your bondmen for ever; but as for your brethren, the children of Israel, ye shall not rule over one another with rigour.

וְהִתְנַחֲלְתֶּ֨ם (הִתְנַחֲלְתֶּ֨ם) hit.na.chal.Tem “you will give as an inheritance”

And Jehovah said to Aaron, In their land thou shalt have no inheritance, neither shalt thou have any portion among them: I am thy portion and thine inheritance among the children of Israel.

תִנְחָ֔ל tin.Chal “you will have an inheritance”

But the Levite, he shall perform the service of the tent of meeting, and they shall bear their iniquity: it is an everlasting statute throughout your generations. And among the children of Israel shall they possess no inheritance;

יִנְחֲל֖וּ yin.cha.Lu “they will inherit”

for I have given for an inheritance to the Levites the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as a heave-offering to Jehovah; therefore I have said of them, They shall possess no inheritance among the children of Israel.

Notwithstanding the land shall be divided by lot; according to the names of the tribes of their fathers shall they inherit;

We will not return to our houses, until the children of Israel have inherited each one his inheritance.

הִתְנַחֵל֙ hit.na.Chel “have inherited”

For we will not inherit with them on yonder side the Jordan, and further, because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side the Jordan eastward.

נִנְחַל֙ nin.Chal “we will inherit”

And ye shall take for yourselves the land as an inheritance by lot according to your families: to the many ye shall increase their inheritance, and to the few thou shalt diminish their inheritance: where the lot falleth to him, there shall be each man's [ergänzt: inheritance]; according to the tribes of your fathers shall ye take for yourselves the inheritance.

וְהִתְנַחַלְתֶּם֩ (הִתְנַחַלְתֶּם֩) hit.na.chal.Tem “you will inherit”תִּתְנֶחָֽלוּ׃ tit.ne.Cha.lu “you will inherit”

And Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, This is the land which ye shall take for yourselves as inheritance by lot, which Jehovah commanded to give to the nine tribes, and to the half tribe.

תִּתְנַחֲל֤וּ tit.na.cha.Lu “you will inherit”

These are the names of the men who shall divide the land unto you: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.

יִנְחֲל֥וּ yin.cha.Lu “they will give as inheritance”

And ye shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land.

לִנְחֹ֥ל (נְחֹ֥ל) n.Chol “give as inheritance”

These are they whom Jehovah commanded to distribute to the children of Israel their inheritance in the land of Canaan.

לְנַחֵ֥ל (נַחֵ֥ל) na.Chel “apportion as an inheritance to”

And the cities which ye shall give shall be of the possession of the children of Israel: from them that have much ye shall take much, and from them that have little ye shall take little; each one according to his inheritance which he will inherit shall give of his cities to the Levites.

יִנְחָ֔לוּ yin.Cha.lu “they will inherit”

Joshua the son of Nun, who standeth before thee, he shall go in thither: strengthen him, for he shall cause Israel to inherit it.

יַנְחִלֶ֥נָּה (יַנְחִלֶ֥) yan.chi.Le. “he will give as an inheritance”

But charge Joshua, and encourage him and strengthen him; for he shall go over before this people, and he shall put them in possession of the land which thou shalt see.

But when ye have gone over the Jordan, and dwell in the land which Jehovah your God causeth you to inherit, and when he hath given you rest from all your enemies round about, and ye dwell in safety,

מַנְחִ֣יל man.Chil “[is] giving as an inheritance”

Thou shalt prepare thee the way, and divide the territory of thy land, which Jehovah thy God giveth thee to inherit, into three parts, so that every slayer may flee thither.

יַנְחִֽילְךָ֖ (יַנְחִֽילְ) yan.chi.le. “he will give as an inheritance”

Thou shalt not remove thy neighbour's landmark, which they of old time have fixed in thine inheritance, which thou shalt inherit in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee to possess.

תִּנְחַ֔ל tin.Chal “you will inherit”

then it shall be, in the day that he maketh his sons to inherit what he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, who is the firstborn;

הַנְחִיל֣וֹ (הַנְחִיל֣) han.chi.L “causes to inherit”

And Moses called to Joshua, and said to him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and courageous, for thou must go with this people into the land which Jehovah hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.

When the Most High assigned to the nations their inheritance, When he separated the sons of Adam, He set the bounds of the peoples According to the number of the children of Israel.

בְּהַנְחֵ֤ל (הַנְחֵ֤ל) han.Chel “gave inheritances to”

Be strong and courageous, for thou shalt cause this people to inherit the land which I have sworn unto their fathers to give them.
