H5654–עֹבֵד אֱדוֹם–o.ved e.dom

So David would not remove the ark of Jehovah unto him into the city of David; but David carried it aside into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.

עֹבֵֽד־ 'oed- “Obed-”אֱד֖וֹם 'e.Dom “Edom”

And the ark of Jehovah remained in the house of Obed-edom the Gittite three months: and Jehovah blessed Obed-edom, and all his house.

עֹבֵ֥ד 'o.Ved “Obed-”אֱדֹ֛ם 'e.Dom “Edom”עֹבֵ֥ד 'o.Ved “Obed-”אֱדֹ֖ם 'e.Dom “Edom”

And it was told king David, saying, Jehovah hath blessed the house of Obed-edom, and all that pertaineth unto him, because of the ark of God. And David went and brought up the ark of God from the house of Obed-edom into the city of David with joy.

So David removed not the ark unto him into the city of David, but carried it aside into the house of Obed-edom the Gittite.

עֹבֵֽד־ 'oed- “Obed-”אֱדֹ֖ם 'e.Dom “Edom”

And the ark of God remained with the family of Obed-edom in his house three months: and Jehovah blessed the house of Obed-edom, and all that he had.

עֹבֵ֥ד 'o.Ved “Obed-”אֱדֹ֛ם 'e.Dom “Edom”עֹבֵֽד־ 'oed- “Obed-”אֱדֹ֖ם 'e.Dom “Edom”

and with them their brethren of the second degree, Zechariah, Ben, and Jaaziel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Unni, Eliab, and Benaiah, and Maaseiah, and Mattithiah, and Eliphelehu, and Mikneiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, the doorkeepers.

וְעֹבֵ֥ד (עֹבֵ֥ד) 'o.Ved “Obed-”אֱדֹ֛ם 'e.Dom “Edom”

and Mattithiah, and Eliphelehu, and Mikneiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, and Azaziah, with harps set to the Sheminith, to lead.

וְעֹבֵ֣ד (עֹבֵ֣ד) 'o.Ved “Obed-”אֱדֹ֔ם 'e.Dom “Edom”

And Shebaniah, and Joshaphat, and Nethanel, and Amasai, and Zechariah, and Benaiah, and Eliezer, the priests, did blow the trumpets before the ark of God: and Obed-edom and Jehiah were doorkeepers for the ark.

וְעֹבֵ֤ד (עֹבֵ֤ד) 'o.Ved “Obed-”אֱדֹם֙ 'e.Dom “Edom”

So David, and the elders of Israel, and the captains over thousands, went to bring up the ark of the covenant of Jehovah out of the house of Obed-edom with joy.

עֹבֵֽד־ 'oed- “Obed-”אֱדֹ֖ם 'e.Dom “Edom”

Asaph the chief, and second to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obed-edom, and Jeiel, with psalteries and with harps; and Asaph with cymbals, sounding aloud;

וְעֹבֵ֨ד (עֹבֵ֨ד) 'o.Ved “Obed-”אֱדֹ֜ם 'e.Dom “Edom”

and Obed-edom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obed-edom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah to be doorkeepers;

וְעֹבֵ֥ד (עֹבֵ֥ד) 'o.Ved “Obed-”אֱדֹ֛ם 'e.Dom “Edom”וְעֹבֵ֨ד (עֹבֵ֨ד) 'o.Ved “Obed-”אֱדֹ֧ם 'e.Dom “Edom”

And Obed-edom had sons: Shemaiah the first-born, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethanel the fifth,

וּלְעֹבֵ֥ד (עֹבֵ֥ד) 'o.Ved “Obed-”אֱדֹ֖ם 'e.Dom “Edom”

All these were of the sons of Obed-edom: they and their sons and their brethren, able men in strength for the service; threescore and two of Obed-edom.

עֹבֵ֣ד 'o.Ved “Obed-”אֱדֹ֗ם 'e.Dom “Edom”לְעֹבֵ֥ד (עֹבֵ֥ד) 'o.Ved “Obed-”אֱדֹֽם׃ 'e.Dom “Edom”

To Obed-edom southward; and to his sons the store-house.

לְעֹבֵ֥ד (עֹבֵ֥ד) 'o.Ved “Obed-”אֱדֹ֖ם 'e.Dom “Edom”

And [ergänzt: he took] all the gold and silver, and all the vessels that were found in the house of God with Obed-edom, and the treasures of the king's house, the hostages also, and returned to Samaria.
