"LORD, when thou didst go forth from Se'ir, when thou didst march from the region of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped, yea, the clouds dropped water.

נָטָ֑פוּ na.Ta.fu “they dropped”נָ֥טְפוּ Na.te.fu “they dropped”

After my words they spoke not again, and my speech dropped upon them;

תִּטֹּ֥ף ti.Tof “it dropped”

The earth trembled, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God, yon Sinai, at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

נָטְפוּ֮ na.te.Fu “they dropped”

For the lips of the strange woman drop honey, and her mouth is smoother than oil;

תִּ֭טֹּפְנָה Ti.to.fe.nah “they drip”

Thy lips, [ergänzt: my] spouse, drop [ergänzt: as] the honeycomb; Honey and milk are under thy tongue; And the smell of thy garments is like the smell of Lebanon.

תִּטֹּ֥פְנָה ti.To.fe.nah “they drip”

I rose up to open to my beloved; And my hands dropped with myrrh, And my fingers with liquid myrrh, Upon the handles of the lock.

נָֽטְפוּ־ na.te.fu- “they dripped”

His cheeks are as a bed of spices, raised beds of sweet plants; His lips lilies, dropping liquid myrrh.

נֹטְפ֖וֹת no.te.Fot “dripping”

Son of man, set thy face toward the south, and drop [ergänzt: words] against the south, and prophesy against the forest of the south field;

וְהַטֵּ֖ף (הַטֵּ֖ף) ha.Tef “prophesy”

Son of man, set thy face against Jerusalem, and drop [ergänzt: words] against the holy places, and prophesy against the land of Israel,

וְהַטֵּ֖ף (הַטֵּ֖ף) ha.Tef “prophesy”

And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the water-courses of Judah shall flow with waters; and a fountain shall come forth from the house of Jehovah, and shall water the valley of Shittim.

יִטְּפ֧וּ yi.te.Fu “they will drip”

And now hear thou the word of Jehovah: Thou sayest, Prophesy not against Israel, and utter not [ergänzt: words] against the house of Isaac.

תַטִּ֖יף ta.Tif “you must prophesy”

Behold, the days come, saith Jehovah, when the ploughman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed; and the mountains shall drop new wine, and all the hills shall melt.

וְהִטִּ֤יפוּ (הִטִּ֤יפוּ) hi.Ti.fu “they will drip”

Prophesy ye not, they prophesy. If they do not prophesy to these, the ignominy will not depart.
