"LORD, when thou didst go forth from Se'ir, when thou didst march from the region of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens dropped, yea, the clouds dropped water.

רָעָ֔שָׁה ra.'A.shah “it shook”

Then the earth shook, and quaked; The foundations of the heavens trembled And shook because he was wroth.

וַתִּרְעַשׁ֙ (תִּרְעַשׁ֙) tir.'Ash “it quaked”

Dost thou make him to leap as a locust? His majestic snorting is terrible.

הְֽ֭תַרְעִישֶׁנּוּ (תַרְעִישֶׁ) tar.'i.she. “do you make leap”

Then the earth shook and quaked, and the foundations of the mountains trembled and shook, because he was wroth.

וַתִּרְעַ֨שׁ׀ (תִּרְעַ֨שׁ) tir.'Ash “it quaked”

Though the waters thereof roar [supplied: and] foam, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.

יִֽרְעֲשֽׁוּ־ yir.'a.shu- “they will shake”

Thou hast made the earth to tremble, thou hast rent it: heal the breaches thereof; for it shaketh.

הִרְעַ֣שְׁתָּה hir.'Ash.tah “you have made quake”

The earth trembled, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God, yon Sinai, at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

רָעָ֨שָׁה׀ ra.'A.shah “it quaked”

There shall be abundance of corn in the earth, upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon; and they of the city shall bloom like the herb of the earth.

יִרְעַ֣שׁ yir.'Ash “may it wave”

The voice of thy thunder was in the whirlwind, lightnings lit up the world; the earth was troubled and it quaked.

וַתִּרְעַ֣שׁ (תִּרְעַ֣שׁ) tir.'Ash “it shook”

Therefore I will make the heavens to shake, and the earth shall be removed out of her place, at the wrath of Jehovah of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.

וְתִרְעַ֥שׁ (תִרְעַ֥שׁ) tir.'Ash “it may shake”

They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee; they shall consider thee, [supplied: saying,] Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that shook kingdoms;

מַרְעִ֖ישׁ mar.'Ish “[who] made shake”

And it shall come to pass, [supplied: that] he who fleeth from the sound of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare; for the windows on high are open, and the foundations of the earth shake.

וַֽיִּרְעֲשׁ֖וּ (יִּרְעֲשׁ֖וּ) i.yir.'a.Shu “they have shaken”

I beheld the mountains, and lo, they trembled, and all the hills shook violently.

רֹעֲשִׁ֑ים ro.'a.Shim “[they were] quaking”

The snorting of his horses is heard from Dan: the whole land trembleth at the sound of the neighing of his steeds, and they come, and devour the land, and all it contains, the city and those that dwell therein.

רָעֲשָׁ֖ה ra.'a.Shah “it has shaken”

But Jehovah Elohim is truth; he is the living God, and the King of eternity. At his wrath the earth trembleth, and the nations cannot abide his indignation.

תִּרְעַ֣שׁ tir.'Ash “it shakes”

The earth quaketh at the sound of their fall; there is a cry, the sound whereof is heard in the Red sea.

רָעֲשָׁ֖ה ra.'a.Shah “it will shake”

At the sound of the taking of Babylon the earth hath quaked, and the cry is heard among the nations.

נִרְעֲשָׁ֖ה nir.'a.Shah “it will quake”

And the land trembleth and is in pain; for the purposes of Jehovah against Babylon do stand, to make the land of Babylon a desolation, without inhabitant.

וַתִּרְעַ֥שׁ (תִּרְעַ֥שׁ) tir.'Ash “it quaked”

By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover thee; thy walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wheels, and of the chariots, when he shall enter through thy gates, as a city is entered into, wherein is made a breach.

תִּרְעַ֙שְׁנָה֙ tir.'Ash.nah “they will shake”

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah to Tyre: Shall not the isles shake at the sound of thy fall, when the wounded groan, when the slaughter is made in the midst of thee?

יִרְעֲשׁ֖וּ yir.'a.Shu “will they quake”

The open places shall shake at the sound of the cry of thy pilots.

I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to Sheol, with them that go down into the pit; and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, were comforted in the lower parts of the earth.

הִרְעַ֣שְׁתִּי hir.'Ash.ti “I caused to tremble”

so that the fish of the sea, and the fowl of the heavens, and the beasts of the field, and all creeping things which creep upon the earth, and all mankind that are upon the face of the earth shall shake at my presence; and the mountains shall be thrown down, and the steep places shall fall, and every wall shall fall to the ground.

וְרָעֲשׁ֣וּ (רָעֲשׁ֣וּ) ra.'a.Shu “they will shake”

The earth quaketh before them; the heavens tremble; the sun and the moon are darkened, and the stars withdraw their shining.

רָעֲשׁ֖וּ ra.'a.Shu “they shake”

And Jehovah will roar from Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: and Jehovah will be a shelter for his people, and the refuge of the children of Israel.
