And the people of Sodom were wicked, and great sinners before Jehovah.

וְחַטָּאִ֑ים (חַטָּאִ֑ים) cha.ta.'Im “sinful”

the censers of these sinners who have forfeited their life; and they shall make them into broad plates for the covering of the altar; for they presented them before Jehovah, therefore they are hallowed; and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel.

הַֽחַטָּאִ֨ים (חַטָּאִ֨ים) cha.ta.'Im “sinners”

And behold, ye are risen up in your fathers' stead, a progeny of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of Jehovah toward Israel.

חַטָּאִ֑ים cha.ta.'Im “sinful”

And Jehovah sent thee on a way and said, Go and utterly destroy the sinners the Amalekites, and fight against them until they be consumed.

הַֽחַטָּאִים֙ (חַטָּאִים֙) cha.ta.'Im “sinners”

Otherwise it shall come to pass when my lord the king shall sleep with his fathers, that I and my son Solomon will be counted offenders.

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, and standeth not in the way of sinners, and sitteth not in the seat of scorners;

חַ֭טָּאִים Cha.ta.'im “sinners”

Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.

וְ֝חַטָּאִ֗ים (חַטָּאִ֗ים) cha.ta.'Im “sinners”

Good and upright is Jehovah; therefore will he instruct sinners in the way:

חַטָּאִ֣ים cha.ta.'Im “sinners”

Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with men of blood;

חַטָּאִ֣ים cha.ta.'Im “sinners”

I will teach transgressors thy ways, and sinners shall return unto thee.

וְ֝חַטָּאִ֗ים (חַטָּאִ֗ים) cha.ta.'Im “sinners”

Sinners shall be consumed out of the earth, and the wicked shall be no more. Bless Jehovah, O my soul. Hallelujah!

My son, if sinners entice thee, consent not.

Evil pursueth sinners; but to the righteous good shall be repaid.

חַ֭טָּאִים Cha.ta.'im “sinners”

Let not thy heart envy sinners, but [supplied: be thou] in the fear of Jehovah all the day;

בַּֽחַטָּאִ֑ים (חַטָּאִ֑ים) cha.ta.'Im “sinners”

But the ruin of the transgressors and of the sinners [supplied: shall be] together; and they that forsake Jehovah shall be consumed.

וְחַטָּאִ֖ים (חַטָּאִ֖ים) cha.ta.'Im “sinners”

Behold, the day of Jehovah cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the earth desolate; and he will destroy the sinners thereof out of it.

וְחַטָּאֶ֖יהָ (חַטָּאֶ֖י) cha.ta.'Ei. “sinners”

The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling hath surprised the hypocrites: Who among us shall dwell with the consuming fire? who among us shall dwell with everlasting flames?

Behold, the eyes of the Lord Jehovah are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth: only that I will not utterly destroy the house of Jacob, saith Jehovah.

All the sinners of my people shall die by the sword, who say, Evil shall not overtake nor befall us.
