He went up from there to Bethel; and as he was going up by the way, there came forth young lads out of the city, and mocked him, and said to him, Go up, you baldy; go up, you baldhead.

וַיִּתְקַלְּסוּ־ (יִּתְקַלְּסוּ) i.yit.ka.le.su- “they derided”

in that you build your vaulted place at the head of every way, and make your lofty place in every street, and have not been as a prostitute, in that you scorn pay.

לְקַלֵּ֥ס (קַלֵּ֥ס) ka.Les “scorn”

Those who are near, and those who are far from you, shall mock you, you infamous one [ergänzt: and] full of tumult.

Yes, he scoffs at kings, and princes are a derision to him. He laughs at every stronghold, for he builds up an earthen ramp, and takes it.
