And Haman said to king Ahasuerus, There is a people scattered abroad and dispersed among the peoples in all the provinces of thy kingdom; and their laws are diverse from [ergänzt: those of] every people, and they keep not the king's laws; and it is not for the king's profit to suffer them.

מְפֻזָּ֤ר me.fu.Zar “scattered”

There were they in great fear, where no fear was; for God scattereth the bones of him that encampeth against thee. Thou hast put [ergänzt: them] to shame, for God hath despised them.

פִּ֭זַּר Pi.zar “he has scattered”

Thou hast crushed Rahab as one that is slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with the arm of thy strength.

פִּזַּ֥רְתָּ pi.Zar.ta “you scattered”

He scattereth abroad, he giveth to the needy; his righteousness abideth for ever: his horn shall be exalted with honour.

פִּזַּ֤ר׀ pi.Zar “he scatters”

Our bones are scattered at the mouth of Sheol, as when one cutteth and cleaveth [ergänzt: wood] upon the earth.

נִפְזְר֥וּ nif.ze.Ru “they have been scattered”

He giveth snow like wool, scattereth the hoar frost like ashes;

Israel is a hunted sheep; the lions have driven him away: first the king of Assyria devoured him, and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon hath broken his bones.

I will also gather all the nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and I will enter into judgment with them there on account of my people and mine inheritance, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations: and they have parted my land;
