And he received it at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, and made it a molten calf: and they said, These are thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

they have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed unto it, and said, These are thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.

Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.

Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I am Jehovah your God.

then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their figured [ergänzt: stones], and destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places:

מַסֵּֽכֹתָם֙ (מַסֵּֽכֹתָ) ma.se.kho.Ta “molten metal”

And Jehovah said unto me, Arise, get thee down quickly from hence; for thy people that thou hast brought forth out of Egypt have corrupted themselves; they are quickly turned aside out of the way which I commanded them; they have made them a molten image.

And I looked, and, behold, ye had sinned against Jehovah your God; ye had made you a molten calf: ye had turned aside quickly out of the way which Jehovah had commanded you.

Cursed be the man that maketh a graven or molten image, an abomination unto Jehovah, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and setteth it up in secret. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.

And he restored the eleven hundred [ergänzt: pieces] of silver to his mother; and his mother said, I verily dedicate the silver unto Jehovah from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image: now therefore I will restore it unto thee.

And when he restored the money unto his mother, his mother took two hundred [ergänzt: pieces] of silver, and gave them to the founder, who made thereof a graven image and a molten image: and it was in the house of Micah.

Then answered the five men that went to spy out the country of Laish, and said unto their brethren, Do ye know that there is in these houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a graven image, and a molten image? now therefore consider what ye have to do.

And the five men that went to spy out the land went up, and came in thither, and took the graven image, and the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image: and the priest stood by the entrance of the gate with the six hundred men girt with weapons of war.

And when these went into Micah's house, and fetched the graven image, the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image, the priest said unto them, What do ye?

but hast done evil above all that were before thee, and hast gone and made thee other gods, and molten images, to provoke me to anger, and hast cast me behind thy back:

וּמַסֵּכוֹת֙ (מַסֵּכוֹת֙) ma.se.khOt “molten images”

And they forsook all the commandments of Jehovah their God, and made them molten images, even two calves, and made an Asherah, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.

but he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and made also molten images for the Baalim.

מַסֵּכ֛וֹת ma.se.Khot “molten images”

For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father; and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the Asherim, and the graven images, and the molten images.

וְהַמַּסֵּכֽוֹת׃ (מַּסֵּכֽוֹת) m.ma.se.Khot “molten images”

And they brake down the altars of the Baalim in his presence; and the sun-images that were on high above them he hewed down; and the Asherim, and the graven images, and the molten images, he brake in pieces, and made dust of them, and strewed it upon the graves [ergänzt: of them] that had sacrificed unto them.

וְהַמַּסֵּכוֹת֙ (מַּסֵּכוֹת֙) m.ma.se.khOt “molten images”

Yea, when they had made them a molten calf, and said, This is thy God that brought thee up out of Egypt, and had wrought great provocations;

מַסֵּכָ֔ה ma.se.Khah “molten metal”

They made a calf in Horeb, And worshipped a molten image.

לְמַסֵּכָֽה׃ (מַסֵּכָֽה) ma.se.Khah “a molten image”

Woe to the rebellious children, saith Jehovah, that take counsel, but not of me; and that make a league, but not of my Spirit, that they may add sin to sin,

מַסֵּכָ֖ה ma.se.Khah “a libation”

And ye shall defile the overlaying of thy graven images of silver, and the plating of thy molten images of gold: thou shalt cast them away as an unclean thing; thou shalt say unto it, Get thee hence.

מַסֵּכַ֣ת ma.se.Khat “[the] molten image of”

They shall be turned back, they shall be utterly put to shame, that trust in graven images, that say unto molten images, Ye are our gods.

לְמַסֵּכָ֖ה (מַסֵּכָ֖ה) ma.se.Khah “a molten image”

And now they sin more and more, and have made them molten images of their silver, even idols according to their own understanding, all of them the work of the craftsmen: they say of them, Let the men that sacrifice kiss the calves.

And Jehovah hath given commandment concerning thee, that no more of thy name be sown: out of the house of thy gods will I cut off the graven image and the molten image; I will make thy grave; for thou art vile.
