You shall bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of your inheritance, The place, Yahweh, which you have made for yourself to dwell in; The sanctuary, Lord, which your hands have established.

מָכ֧וֹן ma.Khon “a place”

I have surely built you a house of habitation, a place for you to dwell in forever.

then hear in heaven, your dwelling-place, and forgive, and do, and render to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know; (for you, even you only, know the hearts of all the children of men;)

hear in heaven, your dwelling-place, and do according to all that the foreigner calls to you for; that all the peoples of the earth may know your name, to fear you, as does your people Israel, and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by my name.

then hear you their prayer and their supplication in heaven, your dwelling-place, and maintain their cause;

Some of the heads of fathers' [ergänzt: houses], when they came to the house of Yahweh which is in Jerusalem, offered willingly for the house of God to set it up in its place:

מְכוֹנֽוֹ׃ (מְכוֹנֽ) me.kho.N “place”

From the place of his habitation he looks out on all the inhabitants of the earth,

Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Loving kindness and truth go before your face.

Clouds and darkness are around him. Righteousness and justice are the foundation of his throne.

He laid the foundations of the earth, That it should not be moved forever.

מְכוֹנֶ֑יהָ (מְכוֹנֶ֑י) me.kho.Nei. “foundations”

Yahweh will create over the whole habitation of Mount Zion, and over her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night; for over all the glory will be a canopy.

For thus has Yahweh said to me, I will be still, and I will see in my dwelling-place, like clear heat in sunshine, like a cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.

בִמְכוֹנִ֑י (מְכוֹנִ֑) m.kho.N “place”

Yes, it magnified itself, even to the prince of the host; and it took away from him the continual [ergänzt: burnt offering], and the place of his sanctuary was cast down.
