H3374–יִרְאָה–yir.ah

And Abraham said, Because I said, Surely the fear of God is not in this place, and they will kill me for my wife's sake.

יִרְאַ֣ת yir.'At “[is] [the] fear of”

And Moses said to the people, Fear not; for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before you, that ye sin not.

יִרְאָת֛וֹ (יִרְאָת֛) yir.'a.T “fear”

This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the peoples under the whole heaven; who will hear report of thee, and will tremble, and quake because of thee.

וְיִרְאָ֣תְךָ֔ (יִרְאָ֣תְ) yir.'A.te. “fear”

The God of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spoke to me, The ruler among men shall be just, Ruling in the fear of God;

יִרְאַ֥ת yir.'At “[the] fear of”

And he charged them saying, Thus shall ye do in the fear of Jehovah faithfully and with a perfect heart.

בְּיִרְאַ֣ת (יִרְאַ֣ת) yir.'At “[the] fear of”

And I said, The thing that ye do is not good. Ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God, so as not to be the reproach of the nations our enemies?

בְּיִרְאַ֤ת (יִרְאַ֤ת) yir.'At “[the] fear of”

But the former governors that were before me had been chargeable to the people, and had taken of them bread and wine, besides forty shekels of silver: even their servants bore rule over the people. But I did not so, because of the fear of God.

יִרְאַ֥ת yir.'At “[the] fear of”

Hath not thy piety been thy confidence, and the perfection of thy ways thy hope?

יִ֭רְאָתְךָ (יִ֭רְאָתְ) Yir.'a.te. “[is] fear”

For him that is fainting kindness [ergänzt: is meet] from his friend; or he forsaketh the fear of the Almighty.

וְיִרְאַ֖ת (יִרְאַ֖ת) yir.'At “[the] fear of”

Yea, thou makest piety of none effect, and restrainest meditation before God.

יִרְאָ֑ה yir.'Ah “fear”

Will he reason with thee for fear of thee? Will he enter with thee into judgment?

הֲֽ֭מִיִּרְאָ֣תְךָ (יִּרְאָ֣תְ) yir.'A.te. “fear”

And unto man he said, Lo, the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

יִרְאַ֣ת yir.'At “[the] fear of”

Serve Jehovah with fear, and rejoice with trembling.

בְּיִרְאָ֑ה (יִרְאָ֑ה) yir.'Ah “fear”

But as for me, in the greatness of thy loving-kindness will I enter thy house; I will bow down toward the temple of thy holiness in thy fear.

בְּיִרְאָתֶֽךָ׃ (יִרְאָתֶֽ) yir.'a.Te. “fear”

The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring for ever; the judgments of Jehovah are truth, they are righteous altogether:

יִרְאַ֤ת yir.'At “[the] fear of”

Come, ye sons, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of Jehovah.

יִֽרְאַ֥ת yir.'At “[the] fear of”

Fear and trembling are come upon me, and horror hath overwhelmed me.

יִרְאָ֣ה yir.'Ah “fear”

Who knoweth the power of thine anger? and thy wrath according to the fear of thee?

וּ֝כְיִרְאָתְךָ֗ (יִרְאָתְ) yir.'a.te. “fear”

The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; a good understanding have all they that do [ergänzt: his precepts]: his praise abideth for ever.

יִרְאַ֬ת yir.'At “[the] fear of”

Establish thy word unto thy servant, who is [ergänzt: devoted] to thy fear.

לְיִרְאָתֶֽךָ׃ (יִרְאָתֶֽ) yir.'a.Te. “fear”

The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of knowledge: fools despise wisdom and instruction.

יִרְאַ֣ת yir.'At “[the] fear of”

Because they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of Jehovah;

וְיִרְאַ֥ת (יִרְאַ֥ת) yir.'At “[the] fear of”

then shalt thou understand the fear of Jehovah, and find the knowledge of God.

יִרְאַ֣ת yir.'At “[the] fear of”

The fear of Jehovah is to hate evil; pride, and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth do I hate.

יִֽרְאַ֣ת yir.'At “[the] fear of”

The fear of Jehovah is the beginning of wisdom; and the knowledge of the Holy is intelligence.

יִרְאַ֣ת yir.'At “[the] fear of”
