and in the vine were three branches; and it was as though it budded: its blossoms shot forth, its clusters ripened into grapes.

אַשְׁכְּלֹתֶ֖יהָ (אַשְׁכְּלֹתֶ֖י) 'ash.ke.lo.Tei. “clusters”

And they came as far as the valley of Eshcol, and cut down thence a branch with one bunch of grapes, and they bore it between two upon a pole; and [ergänzt: they brought] of the pomegranates, and of the figs.

וְאֶשְׁכּ֤וֹל (אֶשְׁכּ֤וֹל) 'esh.Kol “a cluster of”

That place was called the valley of Eshcol, because of the grapes which the children of Israel had cut down there.

For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, And of the fields of Gomorrah: Their grapes are grapes of poison, Bitter are their clusters;

This thy stature is like to a palm-tree, And thy breasts to grape clusters.

I said, I will go up to the palm-tree, I will take hold of the boughs thereof; And thy breasts shall indeed be like clusters of the vine, And the fragrance of thy nose like apples,

כְּאֶשְׁכְּל֣וֹת (אֶשְׁכְּל֣וֹת) 'esh.ke.Lot “[the] clusters of”

Thus saith Jehovah: As the new wine is found in the cluster, and it is said, Destroy it not, for a blessing is in it; so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy [ergänzt: them] all.

בָּֽאֶשְׁכּ֔וֹל (אֶשְׁכּ֔וֹל) 'esh.Kol “cluster of grapes”

Woe is me! for I am as when they have gathered the summer-fruits, as the grape-gleanings of the vintage. There is no cluster to eat; there is no early fruit [ergänzt: which] my soul desired.
