And when ye shall hear of wars and tumults, be not terrified, for these things must first take place, but the end is not immediately.

ἀκαταστασίας, akatastasias “commotions,”

For God is not [ergänzt: a God] of disorder but of peace, as in all the assemblies of the saints.

in stripes, in prisons, in riots, in labours, in watchings, in fastings,

For I fear lest perhaps coming I find you not such as I wish, and that *I* be found by you such as ye do not wish: lest [ergänzt: there might be] strifes, jealousies, angers, contentions, evil speakings, whisperings, puffings up, disturbances;

ἀκαταστασίαι, akatastasiai “disorder,”

For where emulation and strife [ergänzt: are], there [ergänzt: is] disorder and every evil thing.
