And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? For now shall I lie down in the dust; And thou wilt seek me diligently, but I shall not be.

וְשִׁ֖חֲרְתַּ֣נִי (שִׁ֖חֲרְתַּ֣) Shi.char.Ta. “you will look for”

If thou wouldest seek diligently unto God, And make thy supplication to the Almighty;

תְּשַׁחֵ֣ר te.sha.Cher “you will seek”

Behold, as wild asses in the desert They go forth to their work, seeking diligently for food; The wilderness [supplied: yieldeth] them bread for their children.

מְשַׁחֲרֵ֣י me.sha.cha.Rei “seeking”

O God, thou art my God; earnestly will I seek thee: My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee, In a dry and weary land, where no water is.

אֲֽשַׁחֲ֫רֶ֥ךָּ (אֲֽשַׁחֲ֫רֶ֥) 'asha.Cha.Re. “I am seeking earnestly”

When he slew them, then they inquired after him; And they returned and sought God earnestly.

וְשִֽׁחֲרוּ־ (שִֽׁחֲרוּ) shi.cha.ru- “they sought earnestly”

Then will they call upon me, but I will not answer; They will seek me diligently, but they shall not find me:

יְ֝שַׁחֲרֻ֗נְנִי (יְ֝שַׁחֲרֻ֗) ye.sha.cha.Ru. “they will earnestly seek”

Therefore came I forth to meet thee, Diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.

לְשַׁחֵ֥ר (שַׁחֵ֥ר) sha.Cher “seek”

I love them that love me; And those that seek me diligently shall find me.

וּ֝מְשַׁחֲרַ֗י (מְשַׁחֲרַ֗) me.sha.cha.Ra “[those who] earnestly seek”

He that diligently seeketh good seeketh favor; But he that searcheth after evil, it shall come unto him.

שֹׁ֣חֵֽר Sho.cher “[one who] seeks diligently”

He that spareth his rod hateth his son; But he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

שִֽׁחֲר֥וֹ (שִֽׁחֲר֥) shi.cha.R “he seeks early”

With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee earnestly: for when thy judgments are in the earth, the inhabitants of the world learn righteousness.

אֲשַֽׁחֲרֶ֑ךָּ (אֲשַֽׁחֲרֶ֑) 'a.sha.cha.Re. “I will seek”

I will go and return to my place, till they acknowledge their offence, and seek my face: in their affliction they will seek me earnestly.

יְשַׁחֲרֻֽנְנִי׃ (יְשַׁחֲרֻֽ) ye.sha.cha.Ru. “they will seek earnestly”
