Distress and anguish make him afraid; they prevail against him, as a king ready for the battle.

וּמְצוּקָ֑ה (מְצוּקָ֑ה) me.tzu.Kah “distress”

The troubles of my heart are increased: bring me out of my distresses;

מִ֝מְּצֽוּקוֹתַ֗י (מְּצֽוּקוֹתַ֗) me.tzu.ko.Ta “distresses”

Then they cried unto Jehovah in their trouble, [supplied: and] he delivered them out of their distresses,

מִ֝מְּצֽוּקוֹתֵיהֶ֗ם (מְּצֽוּקוֹתֵי) me.tzu.ko.tei. “troubles”

Then they cried unto Jehovah in their trouble, [supplied: and] he saved them out of their distresses;

Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble, [supplied: and] he saveth them out of their distresses;

מִ֝מְּצֻֽקוֹתֵיהֶ֗ם (מְּצֻֽקוֹתֵי) me.tzu.ko.tei. “troubles”

Then they cry unto Jehovah in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses;

וּֽ֝מִמְּצֽוּקֹתֵיהֶ֗ם (מְּצֽוּקֹתֵי) me.tzu.ko.tei. “troubles”

That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of ruin and desolation, a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and gross darkness,
