H2465–חֶ֫לֶד–che.led

And life shall arise brighter than noonday; though thou be enshrouded in darkness, thou shalt be as the morning,

חָ֑לֶד Cha.led “lifespan”

From men [supplied: who are] thy hand, O Jehovah, from men of this age: their portion is in [supplied: this] life, and their belly thou fillest with thy hid [supplied: treasure]; they have their fill of sons, and leave the rest of their [supplied: substance] to their children.

מֵחֶ֗לֶד (חֶ֗לֶד) Che.led “[the] world”

Behold, thou hast made my days [supplied: as] hand-breadths, and my lifetime is as nothing before thee; verily, every man, [supplied: even] the high placed, is altogether vanity. Selah.

וְחֶלְדִּ֣י (חֶלְדִּ֣) chel.D “lifespan”

Hear this, all ye peoples; give ear, all inhabitants of the world:

חָֽלֶד׃ Cha.led “[the] world”

Remember, as regards me, what life is. Wherefore hast thou created all the children of men to be vanity?
