G4115–πλατύνω–platunō

But all their works they do to be seen by men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,

πλατύνουσιν platunousin “They broaden”

O ye Corinthians, our mouth is open to you, our heart is enlarged.

πεπλάτυνται· peplatuntai “has been expanded;”

Now for a recompense in the same (I speak as to my children,) be ye also enlarged.

πλατύνθητε platunthēte “do open [yourselves]”
