H8104I–שָׁמַר–sha.mar

For I have heard the defaming of many, terror on every side. Denounce, and we will denounce him, [ergänzt: say] all my familiar friends, those who watch for my fall; peradventure he will be persuaded, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.

שֹׁמְרֵ֖י sho.me.Rei “[are] [the] watchers of”

They will eat, and not have enough. They will play the prostitute, and will not increase; Because they have abandoned giving to Yahweh.

לִשְׁמֹֽר׃ (שְׁמֹֽר) sh.Mor “keep”

Those who regard lying vanities forsake their own mercy.

מְשַׁמְּרִ֖ים me.sha.me.Rim “[those who] pay regard”

It was broken in that day; and thus the poor of the flock that listened to me knew that it was the word of Yahweh.

הַשֹּׁמְרִ֣ים (שֹּׁמְרִ֣ים) sho.me.Rim “were watching”
