My God, I cry by day, and thou answerest not; and by night, and there is no rest for me:

דֽוּמִיָּ֥ה du.mi.Yah “repose”

I was dumb with silence, I held my peace from good; and my sorrow was stirred.

ד֭וּמִיָּה Du.mi.yah “silence”

Upon God alone doth my soul rest peacefully; from him is my salvation.

Praise waiteth for thee in silence, O God, in Zion; and unto thee shall the vow be performed.
