G3587–ξυράω–xuraō

take these and be purified with them, and pay their expenses, that they may have their heads shaved; and all will know that [ergänzt: of those things] of which they have been informed about thee nothing is [ergänzt: true]; but that thou thyself also walkest orderly, keeping the law.

ξυρήσονται xurēsontai “they will shave”

But every woman praying or prophesying with her head uncovered puts her own head to shame; for it is one and the same as a shaved [ergänzt: woman].

ἐξυρημένῃ. exurēmenē “shaven.”

For if a woman be not covered, let her hair also be cut off. But if [ergänzt: it be] shameful to a woman to have her hair cut off or to be shaved, let her be covered.
