And the passage of the scripture which he read was this: He was led as a sheep to slaughter, and as a lamb is dumb in presence of him that shears him, thus he opens not his mouth.

κείραντος keirantos “shearing”

And Paul, having yet stayed [ergänzt: there] many days, took leave of the brethren and sailed thence to Syria, and with him Priscilla and Aquila, having shorn his head in Cenchrea, for he had a vow;

κειράμενος keiramenos “having shaved”

For if a woman be not covered, let her hair also be cut off. But if [ergänzt: it be] shameful to a woman to have her hair cut off or to be shaved, let her be covered.
