G2511–καθαρίζω–katharizō

[ergänzt: It was] necessary then that the figurative representations of the things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with sacrifices better than these.

καθαρίζεσθαι katharizesthai “to be purified”

Since, would they not indeed have ceased being offered, on account of the worshippers once purged having no longer any conscience of sins?

κεκαθαρισμένους. kekatharismenous “cleansed!”

Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse [ergänzt: your] hands, sinners, and purify [ergänzt: your] hearts, ye double-minded.

καθαρίσατε katharisate “do cleanse”

But if we walk in the light as *he* is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.

καθαρίζει katharizei “cleanses”

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us [ergänzt: our] sins, and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

καθαρίσῃ katharisē “may cleanse”
