G1640–ἐλάσσων–elassōn

and says to him, Every man sets on first the good wine, and when [ergänzt: men] have well drunk, then the inferior; thou hast kept the good wine till now.

ἐλάσσω· elassō “inferior;”

it was said to her, The greater shall serve the less:

ἐλάσσονι· elassoni “younger;”

Let a widow be put upon the list, being of not less than sixty years, [ergänzt: having been] wife of one man,

ἔλαττον elatton “less”

But beyond all gainsaying, the inferior is blessed by the better.
