That they may know that this is thy hand; [ergänzt: That] thou, Jehovah, hast done it.

עֲשִׂיתָֽהּ׃ (הּ) h “it”

HE. Teach me, O Jehovah, the way of thy statutes; And I shall keep it unto the end.

וְאֶצְּרֶ֥נָּה (נָּה) nah “it”

Give me understanding, and I shall keep thy law; Yea, I shall observe it with my whole heart.

וְאֶשְׁמְרֶ֥נָּה (נָּה) nah “it”

Thy word is very pure; Therefore thy servant loveth it.

אֲהֵבָֽהּ׃ (הּ) h “it”

My soul hath long had her dwelling With him that hateth peace.

לָּ֣הּ (הּ) h “itself”

Jerusalem, that art builded As a city that is compact together;

לָּ֥הּ (הּ) h “itself”

Our soul is exceedingly filled With the scoffing of those that are at ease, And with the contempt of the proud. Psalm 124 A Song of Ascents; of David.

לָּ֪הּ (הּ) h “itself”

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, So Jehovah is round about his people From this time forth and for evermore.

לָ֥הּ (הּ) h “it”

Lo, we heard of it in Ephrathah: We found it in the field of the wood.

שְׁמַֽעֲנ֥וּהָ (הָ) ha “it”מְ֝צָאנ֗וּהָ (הָ) ha “it”

Jehovah hath sworn unto David in truth; He will not turn from it: Of the fruit of thy body will I set upon thy throne.

מִ֫מֶּ֥נָּה (נָּה) nah “it”

For Jehovah hath chosen Zion; He hath desired it for his habitation.

אִ֝וָּ֗הּ (הּ) h “it”

This is my resting-place for ever: Here will I dwell; for I have desired it.

אִוִּתִֽיהָ׃ (הָ) ha “it”

Remember, O Jehovah, against the children of Edom The day of Jerusalem; Who said, Rase it, rase it, Even to the foundation thereof.

בָּֽהּ׃ (הּ) h “it”

[ergänzt: Such] knowledge is too wonderful for me; It is high, I cannot attain unto it.

לָֽהּ׃ (הּ) h “it”

And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts; And I will declare thy greatness.

אֲסַפְּרֶֽנָּה׃ (נָּה) nah “it”

If thou seek her as silver, And search for her as for hid treasures:

תְּבַקְשֶׁ֥נָּה (נָּה) nah “it”תַּחְפְּשֶֽׂנָּה׃ (נָּה) nah “it”

None that go unto her return again, Neither do they attain unto the paths of life:

בָּ֭אֶיהָ (הָ) ha “her”

For the upright shall dwell in the land, And the perfect shall remain in it.

בָֽהּ׃ (הּ) h “it”

But the wicked shall be cut off from the land, And the treacherous shall be rooted out of it.

מִמֶּֽנָּה׃ (נָּה) nah “it”

She is more precious than rubies: And none of the things thou canst desire are to be compared unto her.

בָֽהּ׃ (הּ) h “her”

She is a tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: And happy is every one that retaineth her.

בָּ֑הּ (הּ) h “her”וְֽתֹמְכֶ֥יהָ (הָ) ha “her”

Forsake her not, and she will preserve thee; Love her, and she will keep thee.

תַּעַזְבֶ֥הָ (הָ) ha “her”אֱהָבֶ֥הָ (הָ) ha “her”

Exalt her, and she will promote thee; She will bring thee to honor, when thou dost embrace her.

סַלְסְלֶ֥הָ (הָ) ha “her”תְחַבְּקֶֽנָּה׃ (נָּה) nah “her”

Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: Keep her; for she is thy life.

נִ֝צְּרֶ֗הָ (הָ) ha “her”

Remove thy way far from her, And come not nigh the door of her house;

מֵעָלֶ֣יהָ (הָ) ha “her”
