Out of thee is gone forth one that imagineth evil against Jehovah, a wicked counsellor.

מִמֵּ֣ךְ (ךְ) kh “you”

Thus saith Jehovah: Though they be complete in number, and many as they be, even so shall they be cut down, and he shall pass away; and though I have afflicted thee, I will afflict thee no more.

וְעִ֨נִּתִ֔ךְ (ךְ) kh “you”אֲעַנֵּ֖ךְ (ךְ) kh “you”

And now will I break his yoke from off thee, and will burst thy bonds asunder.

מֵֽעָלָ֑יִךְ (ךְ) kh “you”

Behold upon the mountains the feet of him that bringeth glad tidings, that publisheth peace! Celebrate thy feasts, Judah, perform thy vows: for the wicked one shall no more pass through thee; he is utterly cut off.

בָּ֥ךְ (ךְ) kh “you”

Behold, I am against thee, saith Jehovah of hosts: and I will burn her chariots into smoke; and the sword shall devour thy young lions, and I will cut off thy prey from the earth; and the voice of thy messengers shall no more be heard.

אֵלַ֗יִךְ (ךְ) kh “you”

behold, I am against thee, saith Jehovah of hosts; and I will uncover thy skirts upon thy face, and I will shew the nations thy nakedness, and the kingdoms thy shame.

אֵלַ֗יִךְ (ךְ) kh “you”

And I will cast abominable filth upon thee, and make thee vile, and will set thee as a gazing stock.

עָלַ֛יִךְ (ךְ) kh “you”וְנִבַּלְתִּ֑יךְ (ךְ) kh “you”וְשַׂמְתִּ֖יךְ (ךְ) kh “you”

And it shall come to pass, [ergänzt: that] all they that see thee shall flee from thee, and shall say, Nineveh is laid waste! Who will bemoan her? whence shall I seek comforters for thee?

רֹאַ֙יִךְ֙ (ךְ֙) kh “you”מִמֵּ֔ךְ (ךְ) kh “you”לָֽךְ׃ (ךְ) kh “you”

Draw thee water for the siege, strengthen thy fortresses; go into the clay, and tread the mortar, make strong the brick-kiln.

לָ֔ךְ (ךְ) kh “yourself”

There shall the fire devour thee; the sword shall cut thee off; it shall devour thee like the cankerworm. Make thyself many as the cankerworm, make thyself many as the locust.

תֹּאכְלֵ֣ךְ (ךְ) kh “you”תַּכְרִיתֵ֣ךְ (ךְ) kh “you”תֹּאכְלֵ֖ךְ (ךְ) kh “you”

Woe unto the inhabitants of the sea-coast, the nation of the Cherethites! The word of Jehovah is against you, O Canaan, land of the Philistines: I will destroy thee, that there shall be no inhabitant;

וְהַאֲבַדְתִּ֖יךְ (ךְ) kh “you”

Jehovah thy God is in thy midst, a mighty one that will save: he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love; he will exult over thee with singing.

עָלַ֜יִךְ (ךְ) kh “you”עָלַ֖יִךְ (ךְ) kh “you”

I will gather them that sorrow for the solemn assemblies, who were of thee: the reproach of it was a burden [ergänzt: unto them].

מִמֵּ֣ךְ (ךְ) kh “you”

Behold, at that time I will deal with all them that afflict thee; and I will save her that halted, and gather her that was driven out; and I will make them a praise and a name in all the lands where they have been put to shame.

מְעַנַּ֖יִךְ (ךְ) kh “you”

And many nations shall join themselves to Jehovah in that day, and shall be unto me for a people; and I will dwell in the midst of thee, and thou shalt know that Jehovah of hosts hath sent me unto thee.

אֵלָֽיִךְ׃ (ךְ) kh “you”

Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion; shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, thy King cometh to thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly and rIding upon an ass, even upon a colt the foal of an ass.

לָ֔ךְ (ךְ) kh “you”

Turn again to the stronghold, prisoners of hope! even to-day do I declare I will render double unto thee.

לָֽךְ׃ (ךְ) kh “you”

For I have bent Judah for me, I have filled the bow with Ephraim; and I will raise up thy sons, O Zion, against thy sons, O Greece, and make thee like the sword of a mighty man.

וְשַׂמְתִּ֖יךְ (ךְ) kh “you”

And ye shall flee [ergänzt: by] the valley of my mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: ye shall even flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah. And Jehovah my God shall come, [ergänzt: and] all the holy ones with thee.
