I laid me down and slept; I awaked, for Jehovah sustaineth me.

יִסְמְכֵֽנִי׃ (נִי) ni “me”

I will not fear for myriads of the people that have set themselves against me round about.

עָלָֽי׃ (י) i “me”

Arise, Jehovah; save me, my God! For thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheekbone, thou hast broken the teeth of the wicked.

הוֹשִׁ֘יעֵ֤נִי (נִי) ni “me”

When I call, answer me, O God of my righteousness: in pressure thou hast enlarged me; be gracious unto me, and hear my prayer.

עֲנֵ֤נִי׀ (נִי) ni “me”לִּ֑י (י) i “me”חָ֝נֵּ֗נִי (נִי) ni “me”

In peace will I both lay me down and sleep; for thou, Jehovah, alone makest me to dwell in safety.

תּוֹשִׁיבֵֽנִי׃ (נִי) ni “me”

Lead me, Jehovah, in thy righteousness, because of my foes; make thy way plain before me.

נְחֵ֬נִי (נִי) ni “me”

Jehovah, rebuke me not in thine anger, and chasten me not in thy hot displeasure.

תוֹכִיחֵ֑נִי (נִי) ni “me”תְיַסְּרֵֽנִי׃ (נִי) ni “me”

Be gracious unto me, Jehovah, for I am withered; Jehovah, heal me, for my bones tremble.

חָנֵּ֥נִי (נִי) ni “me”רְפָאֵ֥נִי (נִי) ni “me”

Return, Jehovah, free my soul; save me for thy loving-kindness' sake.

ה֝וֹשִׁיעֵ֗נִי (נִי) ni “me”

Mine eye wasteth away through grief; it hath grown old because of all mine oppressors.

צוֹרְרָֽי׃ (י) i “my”

Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for Jehovah hath heard the voice of my weeping.

מִ֭מֶּנִּי (נִּי) ni “me”

Jehovah my God, in thee have I trusted: save me from all my pursuers, and deliver me;

הוֹשִׁיעֵ֥נִי (נִי) ni “me”רֹ֝דְפַ֗י (י) i “my”וְהַצִּילֵֽנִי׃ (נִי) ni “me”

If I have rewarded evil to him that was at peace with me; (indeed I have freed him that without cause oppressed me;)

שֽׁוֹלְמִ֥י (י) i “me”צוֹרְרִ֣י (י) i “my”

Arise, Jehovah, in thine anger; lift thyself up against the raging of mine oppressors, and awake for me: thou hast commanded judgment.

צוֹרְרָ֑י (י) i “my”אֵ֝לַ֗י (י) i “me”

Jehovah shall minister judgment to the peoples. Judge me, Jehovah, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity which is in me.

שָׁפְטֵ֥נִי (נִי) ni “me”עָלָֽי׃ (י) i “me”

Be gracious unto me, O Jehovah; consider mine affliction from them that hate me, lifting me up from the gates of death:

חָֽנְנֵ֬נִי (נִי) ni “me”מִשֹּׂנְאָ֑י (י) i “me”מְ֝רוֹמְמִ֗י (י) i “me”

How long, Jehovah, wilt thou forget me for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me?

תִּשְׁכָּחֵ֣נִי (נִי) ni “me”מִמֶּֽנִּי׃ (נִּי) ni “me”

How long shall I take counsel in my soul, with sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

עָלָֽי׃ (י) i “me”

Consider, answer me, O Jehovah my God! lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the [ergänzt: sleep of] death;

עֲ֭נֵנִי (נִי) ni “me”

I will sing unto Jehovah, for he hath dealt bountifully with me.

Preserve me, O God: for I trust in thee.

שָֽׁמְרֵ֥נִי (נִי) ni “me”

The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.

לִ֭י (י) i “me”עָלָֽי׃ (י) i “me”

I will bless Jehovah, who giveth me counsel; even in the nights my reins instruct me.

יְעָצָ֑נִי (נִי) ni “me”יִסְּר֥וּנִי (נִי) ni “me”

I have set Jehovah continually before me; because [ergänzt: he is] at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

לְנֶגְדִּ֣י (י) i “me”

Thou wilt make known to me the path of life: thy countenance is fulness of joy; at thy right hand are pleasures for evermore.
