so that there was the face of a man toward the palm-tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion toward the palm-tree on the other side; thus was it made through all the house round about.

הַתִּֽמֹרָה֙ (הַ) ha. “the”הַתִּֽמֹרָ֖ה (הַ) ha. “the”הַבַּ֖יִת (הַ) ha. “the”

From the ground unto above the door were cherubim and palm-trees made; and so on the wall of the temple.

מֵהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ (הָ) ha. “the”הַפֶּ֔תַח (הַ) ha. “the”הַכְּרוּבִ֥ים (הַ) ha. “the”וְהַתִּֽמֹרִ֖ים (הַ) ha. “the”הַׄהֵׄיׄכָֽׄלׄ׃ (הַׄ) ha. “the”

As for the temple, the jambs were squared; and the face of the sanctuary had an appearance such as is the appearance.

הַֽהֵיכָ֖ל (הַֽ) ha. “the”הַקֹּ֔דֶשׁ (הַ) ha. “the”הַמַּרְאֶ֖ה (הַ) ha. “the”

The altar, three cubits high, and the length thereof two cubits, was of wood, and so the corners thereof; the length thereof, and the walls thereof, were also of wood; and he said unto me: 'This is the table that is before the LORD.'

הַמִּזְבֵּ֡חַ (הַ) ha. “the”הַשֻּׁלְחָ֔ן (הַ) ha. “[is] the”

And there were made on them, on the doors of the temple, cherubim and palm-trees, like as were made upon the walls; and there were thick beams of wood upon the face of the porch without.

הַֽהֵיכָל֙ (הַֽ) ha. “the”הָאוּלָ֖ם (הָ) ha. “the”מֵהַחֽוּץ׃ (הַ) ha. “the”

And there were narrow windows and palm-trees on the one side and on the other side, on the sides of the porch; there were also the brackets of the house, and the thick beams.

הָֽאוּלָ֑ם (הָֽ) ha. “the”הַבַּ֖יִת (הַ) ha. “the”וְהָעֻבִּֽים׃ (הָ) ha. “the”

Then he brought me forth into the outer court, the way toward the north; and he brought me into the chamber that was over against the separate place, and which was over against the building, toward the north,

הֶֽחָצֵר֙ (הֶֽ) he. “the”הַחִ֣יצוֹנָ֔ה (הַ) ha. “<the>”הַדֶּ֖רֶךְ (הַ) ha. “the”הַצָּפ֑וֹן (הַ) ha. “the”הַלִּשְׁכָּ֗ה (הַ) ha. “the”הַגִּזְרָ֛ה (הַ) ha. “the”הַבִּנְיָ֖ן (הַ) ha. “the”הַצָּפֽוֹן׃ (הַ) ha. “the”

even to the front of the length of a hundred cubits, with the door on the north, and the breadth of fifty cubits,

הַמֵּאָ֔ה (הַ) ha. “the”הַצָּפ֑וֹן (הַ) ha. “the”וְהָרֹ֖חַב (הָ) ha. “the”

over against the twenty cubits which belonged to the inner court, and over against the pavement which belonged to the outer court; with gallery against gallery in three stories.

הָֽעֶשְׂרִ֗ים (הָֽ) ha. “the”הַפְּנִימִ֔י (הַ) ha. “<the>”הַחִֽיצוֹנָ֑ה (הַ) ha. “<the>”

And before the chambers was a walk of ten cubits breadth inward, a way of one cubit; and their doors were toward the north.

הַלְּשָׁכ֜וֹת (הַ) ha. “the”הַפְּנִימִ֔ית (הַ) ha. “the”

Now the upper chambers were shorter; for the galleries took away from these, more than from the lower and the middlemost, in the building.

וְהַלְּשָׁכ֥וֹת (הַ) ha. “the”הָעֶלְיוֹנֹ֖ת (הָ) ha. “<the>”מֵֽהַתַּחְתֹּנ֛וֹת (הַ) ha. “the”וּמֵהַתִּֽכֹנ֖וֹת (הַ) ha. “the”

For they were in three stories, and they had not pillars as the pillars of the courts; therefore room was taken away from the lowest and the middlemost, in comparison with the ground.

הַחֲצֵר֑וֹת (הַ) ha. “the”מֵהַתַּחְתּוֹנ֛וֹת (הַ) ha. “the”וּמֵהַתִּֽיכֹנ֖וֹת (הַ) ha. “the”מֵהָאָֽרֶץ׃ (הָ) ha. “the”

And the wall that was without by the side of the chambers, toward the outer court in front of the chambers, the length thereof was fifty cubits.

הַלְּשָׁכ֔וֹת (הַ) ha. “the”הֶחָצֵ֥ר (הֶ) he. “the”הַחִֽצוֹנָ֖ה (הַ) ha. “<the>”הַלְּשָׁכ֑וֹת (הַ) ha. “the”

For the length of the chambers that were toward the outer court was fifty cubits; and, lo, before the temple were a hundred cubits.

הַלְּשָׁכ֗וֹת (הַ) ha. “the”הַחִֽצוֹנָ֖ה (הַ) ha. “<the>”הַהֵיכָ֖ל (הַ) ha. “the”

And from under these chambers was the entry on the east side, as one goeth into them from the outer court.

הַלְּשָׁכ֣וֹת (הַ) ha. “the”הָאֵ֑לֶּה (הָ) ha. “<the>”הַמֵּבִיא֙ (הַ) ha. “the”מֵֽהַקָּדִ֔ים (הַ) ha. “the”מֵֽהֶחָצֵ֖ר (הֶ) he. “the”הַחִצֹנָֽה׃ (הַ) ha. “<the>”

In the breadth of the wall of the court toward the east, before the separate place, and before the building, there were chambers,

הֶחָצֵ֗ר (הֶ) he. “the”הַקָּדִ֛ים (הַ) ha. “the”הַגִּזְרָ֛ה (הַ) ha. “the”הַבִּנְיָ֖ן (הַ) ha. “the”

with a way before them; like the appearance of the chambers which were toward the north, as long as they, and as broad as they, with all their goings out, and according to their fashions; and as their doors,

הַלְּשָׁכ֗וֹת (הַ) ha. “the”הַצָּפ֔וֹן (הַ) ha. “the”

so were also the doors of the chambers that were toward the south, there was a door in the head of the way, even the way directly before the wall, toward the way from the east, as one entereth into them.

הַלְּשָׁכ֗וֹת (הַ) ha. “the”הַדָּר֔וֹם (הַ) ha. “the”הַגְּדֶ֣רֶת (הַ) ha. “the”הַקָּדִ֖ים (הַ) ha. “the”

Then said he unto me: 'The north chambers and the south chambers, which are before the separate place, they are the holy chambers, where the priests that are near unto the LORD shall eat the most holy things; there shall they lay the most holy things, an

הַצָּפ֜וֹן (הַ) ha. “the”הַדָּרוֹם֮ (הַ) ha. “the”הַגִּזְרָה֒ (הַ) ha. “the”הַקֹּ֗דֶשׁ (הַ) ha. “<the>”הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים (הַ) ha. “the”הַקֳּדָשִׁ֑ים (הַ) ha. “the”הַקֳּדָשִׁ֗ים (הַ) ha. “the”וְהַמִּנְחָה֙ (הַ) ha. “the”וְהַחַטָּ֣את (הַ) ha. “the”וְהָאָשָׁ֔ם (הָ) ha. “the”הַמָּק֖וֹם (הַ) ha. “the”

When the priests enter in, then shall they not go out of the holy place into the outer court, but there they shall lay their garments wherein they minister, for they are holy; and they shall put on other garments, and shall approach to that which pertain

הַכֹּהֲנִ֗ים (הַ) ha. “the”מֵהַקֹּ֙דֶשׁ֙ (הַ) ha. “the”הֶחָצֵ֣ר (הֶ) he. “the”הַחִיצוֹנָ֔ה (הַ) ha. “<the>”

Now when he had made an end of measuring the inner house, he brought me forth by the way of the gate whose prospect is toward the east, and measured it round about.

הַבַּ֣יִת (הַ) ha. “the”הַפְּנִימִ֔י (הַ) ha. “<the>”הַשַּׁ֔עַר (הַ) ha. “the”הַקָּדִ֑ים (הַ) ha. “the”

He measured the east side with the measuring reed, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.

הַקָּדִ֖ים (הַ) ha. “the”הַמִּדָּ֑ה (הַ) ha. “<the>”הַמִּדָּ֖ה (הַ) ha. “<the>”

He measured the north side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed round about.

הַצָּפ֑וֹן (הַ) ha. “the”הַמִּדָּ֖ה (הַ) ha. “<the>”

He measured the south side, five hundred reeds, with the measuring reed.

הַדָּר֖וֹם (הַ) ha. “the”הַמִּדָּֽה׃ (הַ) ha. “<the>”

He turned about to the west side, and measured five hundred reeds with the measuring reed.
