-- and at the ascent, four tables of hewn stone, of a cubit and a half long, and a cubit and a half broad, and one cubit high; whereon also they laid the instruments with which they slew the burnt-offering and the sacrifice.

הַכֵּלִים֙ (הַ) ha. “the”הָעוֹלָ֛ה (הָ) ha. “the”וְהַזָּֽבַח׃ (הַ) ha. “the”

And the double hooks of a hand breadth were fastened round about within; and upon the tables [ergänzt: they put] the flesh of the offering.

וְהַֽשְׁפַתַּ֗יִם (הַֽ) ha “the”הַשֻּׁלְחָנ֖וֹת (הַ) ha. “the”הַקָּרְבָֽן׃ (הַ) ha. “the”

And outside the inner gate were two cells in the inner court, one at the side of the north gate, and its front towards the south; the other was at the side of the south gate, the front towards the north.

הַפְּנִימִ֜י (הַ) ha. “<the>”הַפְּנִימִי֙ (הַ) ha. “<the>”הַצָּפ֔וֹן (הַ) ha. “the”הַדָּר֑וֹם (הַ) ha. “the”הַקָּדִ֔ים (הַ) ha. “the”הַצָּפֹֽן׃ (הַ) ha. “the”

And he said unto me, This cell whose front is towards the south is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the house.

הַלִּשְׁכָּ֗ה (הַ) ha. “the”הַדָּר֔וֹם (הַ) ha. “the”הַבָּֽיִת׃ (הַ) ha. “the”

And the cell whose front is toward the north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar. These are the sons of Zadok, those who, from among the sons of Levi, approach unto Jehovah to minister unto him.

וְהַלִּשְׁכָּ֗ה (הַ) ha. “the”הַצָּפ֔וֹן (הַ) ha. “the”הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ (הַ) ha. “the”הַקְּרֵבִ֧ים (הַ) ha. “<the>”

And he measured the court, the length a hundred cubits, and the breadth a hundred cubits, four square: and the altar was before the house.

הֶחָצֵ֜ר (הֶ) he. “the”וְהַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ (הַ) ha. “the”הַבָּֽיִת׃ (הַ) ha. “the”

And he brought me to the porch of the house; and he measured the post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side; and the breadth of the gate, three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side.

הַבַּיִת֒ (הַ) ha. “the”הַשַּׁ֔עַר (הַ) ha. “the”

The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits, even by the steps whereby they went up to it; and there were pillars by the posts, one on this side, and one on that side.

הָאֻלָ֞ם (הָ) ha. “the”הָ֣אֵילִ֔ים (הָ֣) ha. “the”

And he brought me to the temple; and he measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, the breadth of the tent.

הַהֵיכָ֑ל (הַ) ha. “the”הָאֵילִ֗ים (הָ) ha. “the”הָאֹֽהֶל׃ (הָ) ha. “the”

And the breadth of the entry was ten cubits, and the sides of the entry were five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side; and he measured its length, forty cubits, and the breadth, twenty cubits.

הַפֶּתַח֮ (הַ) ha. “the”הַפֶּ֔תַח (הַ) ha. “the”

And he went inwards, and measured the post of the entry, two cubits; and the entry, six cubits; and the breadth of the entry, seven cubits.

הַפֶּ֖תַח (הַ) ha. “the”וְהַפֶּ֙תַח֙ (הַ) ha. “the”הַפֶּ֖תַח (הַ) ha. “the”

And he measured its length, twenty cubits; and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple: and he said unto me, This is the most holy [ergänzt: place].

הַֽהֵיכָ֑ל (הַֽ) ha. “the”הַקֳּדָשִֽׁים׃ (הַ) ha. “the”

And he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of the side-chambers, four cubits, round about the house on every side.

הַבַּ֖יִת (הַ) ha. “the”הַצֵּלָע֩ (הַ) ha. “the”

And the side-chambers were three, chamber over chamber, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which the house had for the side-chambers round about, that they might have hold; but they had not hold in the wall of the house.

וְהַצְּלָעוֹת֩ (הַ) ha. “the”הַבָּֽיִת׃ (הַ) ha. “the”

And for the side-chambers there was an enlarging, and it went round about [ergänzt: the house] increasing upward; for the surrounding of the house increased upward round about the house; therefore the house had width upward, and so ascended [ergänzt: from] the lower [ergänzt: story] to the upper, by the middle one.

הַ֠בַּיִת (הַ֠) Ha. “the”הַתַּחְתּוֹנָ֛ה (הַ) ha. “the”הָעֶלְיוֹנָ֖ה (הָ) ha. “the”

And I saw that the house had an elevation round about: the foundations of the side-chambers, a full reed, six cubits to the joint.

הַצְּלָעוֹת֙ (הַ) ha. “the”הַקָּנֶ֔ה (הַ) ha. “the”

The thickness of the wall, which was for the side-chambers without, was five cubits, as also what was left free along the building of the side-chambers that pertained to the house.

הַקִּ֧יר (הַ) ha. “the”הַח֖וּץ (הַ) ha. “the”

And between the cells [ergänzt: and the house] was a width of twenty cubits round about the house on every side.

הַלְּשָׁכ֜וֹת (הַ) ha. “the”

And the entry of the side-chambers was toward what was left free, one entry toward the north, and one entry toward the south; and the width of the space left free was five cubits round about.

הַצֵּלָע֙ (הַ) ha. “the”הַצָּפ֔וֹן (הַ) ha. “the”הַמֻּנָּ֔ח (הַ) ha. “the”

And the building that was before the separate place at the end toward the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick round about; and its length ninety cubits.

וְהַבִּנְיָ֡ן (הַ) ha. “the”הַגִּזְרָ֜ה (הַ) ha. “the”הַיָּ֗ם (הַ) hai. “the”הַבִּנְיָ֛ן (הַ) ha. “the”

And he measured the house: the length a hundred cubits; and the separate place, and the building, and its walls, the length a hundred cubits;

הַבַּ֔יִת (הַ) ha. “the”וְהַגִּזְרָ֤ה (הַ) ha. “the”וְהַבִּנְיָה֙ (הַ) ha. “the”

and the breadth of the front of the house, and of the separate places toward the east, a hundred cubits.

הַבַּ֧יִת (הַ) ha. “the”וְהַגִּזְרָ֛ה (הַ) ha. “the”

And he measured the length of the building before the separate place, which was at the back of it, with its galleries on the one side and on the other side, a hundred cubits; and the inner temple, and the porches of the court.

הַ֠בִּנְיָן (הַ֠) Ha. “the”הַגִּזְרָ֜ה (הַ) ha. “the”וְהַֽהֵיכָל֙ (הַֽ) ha. “the”הַפְּנִימִ֔י (הַ) ha. “<the>”הֶחָצֵֽר׃ (הֶ) he. “the”

The thresholds, and the closed windows, and the galleries round about the three of them (opposite the thresholds it was wainscoted with wood round about, and from the ground up to the windows, and the windows were covered),

הַסִּפִּ֡ים (הַ) ha. “the”וְהַחַלּוֹנִ֣ים (הַ) ha. “the”הָ֠אֲטֻמוֹת (הָ֠) Ha. “<the>”וְהָאַתִּיקִ֤ים׀ (הָ) ha. “the”הַסַּ֛ף (הַ) ha. “the”וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ (הָ) ha. “the”הַֽחַלֹּנ֔וֹת (הַֽ) ha. “the”וְהַֽחַלֹּנ֖וֹת (הַֽ) ha. “the”

[ergänzt: and] above, over the entry, even unto the inner house, and without, and by all the wall round about, within and without, [ergänzt: all was] by measure.
