For I have not sent them, saith Jehovah, yet they prophesy falsely in my name; in order that I should drive you out, and that ye should perish, ye, and the prophets who prophesy unto you.

וְהַנְּבִאִ֖ים (הַ) ha. “the”הַֽנִּבְּאִ֥ים (הַֽ) ha. “who”

And I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus saith Jehovah: Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of Jehovah's house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon; for they prophesy falsehood unto you.

הַכֹּהֲנִים֩ (הַ) ha. “the”הָעָ֨ם (הָ) ha. “the”הַזֶּ֜ה (הַ) ha. “<the>”הַֽנִּבְּאִ֤ים (הַֽ) ha. “who”

Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live: wherefore should this city become a waste?

הָעִ֥יר (הָ) ha. “the”הַזֹּ֖את (הַ) ha. “<the>”

But if they be prophets, and if the word of Jehovah be with them, let them now make intercession to Jehovah of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of Jehovah, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.

הַכֵּלִ֣ים׀ (הַ) ha. “the”הַנּוֹתָרִ֣ים (הַ) ha. “which”

For thus saith Jehovah of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the rest of the vessels that are left in this city,

הָֽעַמֻּדִ֔ים (הָֽ) ha. “the”הַיָּ֖ם (הַ) hai. “the”הַמְּכֹנ֑וֹת (הַ) ha. “the”הַכֵּלִ֔ים (הַ) ha. “the”הַנּוֹתָרִ֖ים (הַ) ha. “which”הַזֹּֽאת׃ (הַ) ha. “<the>”

yea, thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that are left in the house of Jehovah, and in the house of the king of Judah, and in Jerusalem:

הַכֵּלִ֗ים (הַ) ha. “the”הַנּֽוֹתָרִים֙ (הַ) ha. “which”

They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day of my visiting them, saith Jehovah; then I will bring them up, and restore them to this place.

הַמָּק֖וֹם (הַ) ha. “the”הַזֶּֽה׃ (הַ) ha. “<the>”

And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, in the fifth month, [ergänzt: that] Hananiah the son of Azzur, the prophet, who was of Gibeon, spoke to me in the house of Jehovah, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,

הַהִ֗יא (הַ) ha. “<the>”הָֽרְבִעִ֔ית (הָֽ) ha. “<the>”הַחֲמִישִׁ֑י (הַ) ha. “<the>”הַנָּבִ֜יא (הַ) ha. “the”הַכֹּהֲנִ֛ים (הַ) ha. “the”הָעָ֖ם (הָ) ha. “the”

Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of Jehovah's house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried to Babylon;

הַמָּק֣וֹם (הַ) ha. “the”הַזֶּ֔ה (הַ) ha. “<the>”הַמָּק֣וֹם (הַ) ha. “the”הַזֶּ֔ה (הַ) ha. “<the>”

and I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, the king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah that went to Babylon, saith Jehovah: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.

הַבָּאִ֣ים (הַ) ha. “who”הַמָּק֥וֹם (הַ) ha. “the”הַזֶּ֖ה (הַ) ha. “<the>”

And the prophet Jeremiah spoke unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of Jehovah.

הַנָּבִ֔יא (הַ) ha. “the”הַנָּבִ֑יא (הַ) ha. “the”הַכֹּֽהֲנִים֙ (הַ) ha. “the”הָעָ֔ם (הָ) ha. “the”הָעֹמְדִ֖ים (הָ) ha. “who”

And the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen, may Jehovah do so! may Jehovah perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again from Babylon, into this place, the vessels of Jehovah's house, and all them of the captivity!

הַנָּבִ֔יא (הַ) ha. “the”הַגּוֹלָ֔ה (הַ) ha. “the”הַמָּק֥וֹם (הַ) ha. “the”הַזֶּֽה׃ (הַ) ha. “<the>”

Nevertheless, hear, I pray thee, this word which I speak in thine ears, and in the ears of all the people:

הַדָּבָ֣ר (הַ) ha. “the”הַזֶּ֔ה (הַ) ha. “<the>”הָעָֽם׃ (הָ) ha. “the”

The prophets that have been before me and before thee of old, prophesied also concerning many countries and concerning great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.

הַנְּבִיאִ֗ים (הַ) ha. “the”הָֽעוֹלָ֑ם (הָֽ) ha. “<the>”

The prophet that prophesieth of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, shall be known as the prophet whom Jehovah hath really sent.

הַנָּבִ֕יא (הַ) ha. “the”הַנָּבִ֗יא (הַ) ha. “the”הַנָּבִ֔יא (הַ) ha. “the”

And the prophet Hananiah took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah's neck, and broke it.

הַנָּבִיא֙ (הַ) ha. “the”הַמּוֹטָ֔ה (הַ) ha. “the”הַנָּבִ֑יא (הַ) ha. “the”

And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus saith Jehovah: So will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon within two full years from off the neck of all the nations. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.

הָעָ֜ם (הָ) ha. “the”הַגּוֹיִ֑ם (הַ) ha. “the”הַנָּבִ֖יא (הַ) ha. “the”

And the word of Jehovah came unto Jeremiah, after that the prophet Hananiah had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,

הַנָּבִיא֙ (הַ) ha. “the”הַמּוֹטָ֔ה (הַ) ha. “the”הַנָּבִ֖יא (הַ) ha. “the”

For thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel: I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.

הַגּוֹיִ֣ם (הַ) ha. “the”הָאֵ֗לֶּה (הָ) ha. “<the>”הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה (הַ) ha. “the”

And the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah, Hear now, Hananiah: Jehovah hath not sent thee; and thou makest this people to trust in falsehood.

הַנָּבִ֛יא (הַ) ha. “the”הַנָּבִ֖יא (הַ) ha. “the”הָעָ֥ם (הָ) ha. “the”הַזֶּ֖ה (הַ) ha. “<the>”

Therefore thus saith Jehovah: Behold, I will cast thee from off the face of the earth: this year thou shalt die, for thou hast spoken revolt against Jehovah.

הָאֲדָמָ֑ה (הָ) ha. “the”הַשָּׁנָה֙ (הַ) ha. “this”

And the prophet Hananiah died in the same year in the seventh month.

הַנָּבִ֖יא (הַ) ha. “the”הַהִ֑יא (הַ) ha. “<the>”הַשְּׁבִיעִֽי׃ (הַ) ha. “<the>”

And these are the words of the letter that the prophet Jeremiah sent from Jerusalem to the residue of the elders of the captivity, and to the priests, and to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon

הַסֵּ֔פֶר (הַ) ha. “the”הַנָּבִ֖יא (הַ) ha. “the”הַגּוֹלָ֗ה (הַ) ha. “the”הַכֹּהֲנִ֤ים (הַ) ha. “the”הַנְּבִיאִים֙ (הַ) ha. “the”הָעָ֔ם (הָ) ha. “the”

(after that Jeconiah the king, and the queen, and the eunuchs, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, and the craftsmen, and the smiths, had departed from Jerusalem);

הַ֠מֶּלֶךְ (הַ֠) Ha. “the”וְהַגְּבִירָ֨ה (הַ) ha. “the”וְהַסָּרִיסִ֜ים (הַ) ha. “the”וְהֶחָרָ֥שׁ (הֶ) he. “the”וְהַמַּסְגֵּ֖ר (הַ) ha. “the”

Thus saith Jehovah of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all the captivity, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon:

הַ֨גּוֹלָ֔ה (הַ֨) ha. “the”
