He will bless them that fear Jehovah, both the small and the great.

הַ֝קְּטַנִּ֗ים (הַ֝) ha. “<the>”הַגְּדֹלִֽים׃ (הַ) ha. “<the>”

The heavens are the heavens of Jehovah, but the earth hath he given to the children of men.

The dead praise not Jah, neither any that go down into silence;

הַ֭מֵּתִים (הַ֭) Ha. “the”

I will walk before Jehovah in the land of the living.

Precious in the sight of Jehovah is the death of his saints.

Praise Jehovah, all ye nations; laud him, all ye peoples;

הָאֻמִּֽים׃ (הָ) ha. “the”

I called upon Jah in distress; Jah answered me [ergänzt: and set me] in a large place.

הַ֭מֵּצַ֥ר (הַ֭) ha. “the”

This is the gate of Jehovah: the righteous shall enter therein.

הַשַּׁ֥עַר (הַ) ha. “the”

[ergänzt: The] stone which the builders rejected hath become the head of the corner:

הַבּוֹנִ֑ים (הַ) ha. “the”

This is the day that Jehovah hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

הַ֭יּוֹם (הַ֭) Hai. “the”

Blessed be he that cometh in the name of Jehovah. We have blessed you out of the house of Jehovah.

הַ֭בָּא (הַ֭) Ha. “the”

Jehovah is God, and he hath given us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, -- up to the horns of the altar.

הַמִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃ (הַ) ha. “the”

ALEPH. Blessed are the perfect in the way, who walk in the law of Jehovah.

הַֽ֝הֹלְכִ֗ים (הַֽ֝) ha. “those”

Thou hast rebuked the proud [ergänzt: that are] cursed, who wander from thy commandments.

הַ֝שֹּׁגִים (הַ֝) Ha. “who”

The earth, O Jehovah, is full of thy loving-kindness: teach me thy statutes.

הָאָ֗רֶץ (הָ) ha. “the”

By thine ordinances they stand this day; for all things are thy servants.

MEM. Oh how I love thy law! it is my meditation all the day.

In my trouble I called unto Jehovah, and he answered me.

Jerusalem, which art built as a city that is compact together,
