When thou hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of thy produce in the third year, the year of tithing, thou shalt give it to the Levite, to the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, that they may eat in thy gates, and be filled;

and thou shalt say before Jehovah thy God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of the house, and also have given them to the Levite, and to the stranger, to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all thy commandment which thou hast commanded me; I have not transgressed nor forgotten [ergänzt: any] of thy commandments:

I have not eaten thereof in my mourning, neither have I brought away thereof in uncleanness, nor given thereof for a dead person; I have hearkened to the voice of Jehovah my God; I have done according to all that thou hast commanded me.

Look down from thy holy habitation, from the heavens, and bless thy people Israel, and the land that thou hast given us as thou didst swear unto our fathers, a land flowing with milk and honey!

This day Jehovah thy God hath commanded thee to do these statutes and ordinances; and thou shalt keep and do them with all thy heart and with all thy soul.

לַעֲשׂ֛וֹת (לַ) la. “to”

Thou hast this day accepted Jehovah to be thy God, and to walk in his ways, and keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his ordinances, and to hearken unto his voice;

לִהְיוֹת֩ (לִ) li “to”לְךָ֨ (לְ) le. “for <the>”לֵֽאלֹהִ֜ים (לֵֽ) le. “<into>”וְלָלֶ֣כֶת (לָ) la. “to”וְלִשְׁמֹ֨ר (לִ) li “to”וְלִשְׁמֹ֥עַ (לִ) li “to”

and Jehovah hath accepted thee this day to be a people of possession to him, as he hath told thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments,

לִהְי֥וֹת (לִ) li “to”לוֹ֙ (ל) l “for <the>”לְעַ֣ם (לְ) le. “<into>”לָ֑ךְ (לָ֑) La “to <the>”וְלִשְׁמֹ֖ר (לִ) li “to”

so that he should make thee high above all the nations which he hath made, in praise and in name and in honour; and that thou shouldest be a holy people to Jehovah thy God, as he hath said.

וּֽלְתִתְּךָ֣ (לְ) le. “to”לִתְהִלָּ֖ה (לִ) li “for”וּלְשֵׁ֣ם (לְ) le. “for”וּלְתִפְאָ֑רֶת (לְ) le. “for”וְלִֽהְיֹתְךָ֧ (לִֽ) li “to”לַיהוָ֥ה (לַ) la. “to”

And Moses and the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandment which I command you this day.

לֵאמֹ֑ר (לֵ) le. “<to>”

And it shall be on the day when ye pass over the Jordan unto the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaster them with plaster:

לָ֑ךְ (לָ֑) La “to <the>”לְךָ֙ (לְ) le. “for <the>”

and thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou goest over that thou mayest enter into the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee, a land flowing with milk and honey, as Jehovah the God of thy fathers hath promised thee.

And there shalt thou build an altar to Jehovah thy God, an altar of stones; thou shalt not lift up an iron [ergänzt: tool] upon them;

לַיהוָ֖ה (לַ) la. “to”

of whole stones shalt thou build the altar of Jehovah thy God; and thou shalt offer up burnt-offerings thereon to Jehovah thy God.

And thou shalt sacrifice peace-offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before Jehovah thy God.

לִפְנֵ֖י (לִ) li “<to>”

And Moses and the priests, the Levites, spoke to all Israel, saying, Be silent and hearken, Israel! this day thou art become the people of Jehovah thy God.

לֵאמֹ֑ר (לֵ) le. “<to>”לְעָ֔ם (לְ) le. “<into>”לַיהוָ֖ה (לַ) la. “of”

And Moses gave commandment to the people the same day, saying,

לֵאמֹֽר׃ (לֵ) le. “<to>”

These shall stand to bless the people upon mount Gerizim, when ye have gone over the Jordan: Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin.

לְבָרֵ֤ךְ (לְ) le. “to”

Cursed be he that taketh reward to smite mortally [ergänzt: shedding] innocent blood! And all the people shall say, Amen.

לְהַכּ֥וֹת (לְ) le. “to”

Cursed be he that confirmeth not the words of this law to do them! And all the people shall say, Amen.

לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת (לַ) la. “by”

And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of Jehovah thy God, to take heed to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that Jehovah thy God will set thee supreme above all nations of the earth;

לִשְׁמֹ֤ר (לִ) li “to”לַעֲשׂוֹת֙ (לַ) la. “to”

Jehovah will give up, smitten before thee, thine enemies that rise up against thee; they shall come out against thee one way, and by seven ways shall they flee before thee.

לְפָנֶ֑יךָ (לְ) le. “<to>”לְפָנֶֽיךָ׃ (לְ) le. “<to>”

Jehovah will command blessing on thee in thy granaries, and in all the business of thy hand; and he will bless thee in the land which Jehovah thy God giveth thee.

לָֽךְ׃ (לָֽ) La “to <the>”

Jehovah will establish thee unto himself a holy people as he hath sworn unto thee, if thou keep the commandments of Jehovah thy God, and walk in his ways.

לוֹ֙ (ל) l “for <the>”לְעַ֣ם (לְ) le. “to”לָ֑ךְ (לָ֑) La “to <the>”

And Jehovah will give thee abundance of good, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land that Jehovah swore unto thy fathers to give thee.

לְטוֹבָ֔ה (לְ) le. “to”לַאֲבֹתֶ֖יךָ (לַ) la. “to”לָ֥תֶת (לָ֥) La. “to”לָֽךְ׃ (לָֽ) La “to <the>”

Jehovah will open to thee his good treasure, the heavens, to give rain unto thy land in its season, and to bless all the work of thy hand; and thou shalt lend unto many nations, but thou shalt not borrow.
