H9002–/וְ–v

And at the time of the end shall the king of the south push at him; and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and overflow and pass through.

וּבְעֵ֣ת (וּ) u. “and”וְיִשְׂתָּעֵ֨ר (וְ) ve. “so”וּבְפָ֣רָשִׁ֔ים (וּ) u. “and”וּבָאֳנִיּ֖וֹת (וּ) u. “and”

And he shall enter into the land of beauty, and many [ergänzt: countries] shall be overthrown; but these shall escape out of his hand: Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

וְרַבּ֖וֹת (וְ) ve. “and”וְאֵ֙לֶּה֙ (וְ) ve. “and”וּמוֹאָ֔ב (וּ) u. “and”וְרֵאשִׁ֖ית (וְ) ve. “and”

And he shall stretch forth his hand upon the countries; and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

וְיִשְׁלַ֥ח (וְ) ve. “so”וְאֶ֣רֶץ (וְ) ve. “and”

And he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

וְהַכֶּ֔סֶף (וְ) ve. “and”וּבְכֹ֖ל (וּ) u. “and”וְלֻבִ֥ים (וְ) ve. “and”וְכֻשִׁ֖ים (וְ) ve. “and”

But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him; and he shall go forth with great fury to exterminate, and utterly to destroy many.

וּשְׁמֻע֣וֹת (וּ) u. “and”וּמִצָּפ֑וֹן (וּ) u. “and”וּֽלְהַחֲרִ֖ים (וּֽ) u. “and”

And he shall plant the tents of his palace between the sea and the mountain of holy beauty; and he shall come to his end, and there shall be none to help him.

וְיִטַּע֙ (וְ) ve. “so”וְאֵ֥ין (וְ) ve. “and”

And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who standeth for the children of thy people; and there shall be a time of distress, such as never was since there was a nation until that time. And at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that is found written in the book.

וּבָעֵ֣ת (וּ) u. “and”וּבָעֵ֤ת (וּ) u. “and”

And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame, to everlasting contempt.

וְרַבִּ֕ים (וְ) ve. “and”וְאֵ֥לֶּה (וְ) ve. “and”

And they that are wise shall shine as the brightness of the expanse; and they that turn the many to righteousness as the stars, for ever and ever.

וְהַ֨מַּשְׂכִּלִ֔ים (וְ) ve. “and”וּמַצְדִּיקֵי֙ (וּ) u. “and”וָעֶֽד׃ (וָ) va. “and”

And thou, Daniel, close the words, and seal the book, till the time of the end. Many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.

וְאַתָּ֣ה (וְ) ve. “and”וַחֲתֹ֥ם (וַ) va. “and”וְתִרְבֶּ֥ה (וְ) ve. “so”

And I Daniel looked, and behold, there stood other two, the one on this side, on the bank of the river, and the other on that side, on the bank of the river.

וְהִנֵּ֛ה (וְ) ve. “and”וְאֶחָ֥ד (וְ) ve. “and”

And I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river; and he held up his right hand and his left hand unto the heavens, and swore by him that liveth for ever that it is for a time, times, and a half; and when the scattering of the power of the holy people shall be accomplished, all these things shall be finished.

וּשְׂמֹאלוֹ֙ (וּ) u. “and”וָחֵ֗צִי (וָ) va. “and”וּכְכַלּ֛וֹת (וּ) u. “and”

And I heard, but I understood not. And I said, My lord, what shall be the end of these things?

וַאֲנִ֥י (וַ) va. “and”וְלֹ֣א (וְ) ve. “and”

And he said, Go thy way, Daniel; for these words are closed and sealed till the time of the end.

וַחֲתֻמִ֛ים (וַ) va. “and”

Many shall be purified, and be made white, and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.

וְיִֽתְלַבְּנ֤וּ (וְ) ve. “and”וְיִצָּֽרְפוּ֙ (וְ) ve. “so”וְלֹ֥א (וְ) ve. “and”וְהַמַּשְׂכִּלִ֖ים (וְ) ve. “and”

And from the time that the continual [ergänzt: sacrifice] is taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, [ergänzt: there shall be] a thousand, two hundred, and ninety days.

וּמֵעֵת֙ (וּ) u. “and”וְלָתֵ֖ת (וְ) ve. “and”וְתִשְׁעִֽים׃ (וְ) ve. “and”

Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and thirty-five days!

וְיַגִּ֑יעַ (וְ) ve. “and”וַחֲמִשָּֽׁה׃ (וַ) va. “and”

But do thou go thy way until the end; and thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.

וְאַתָּ֖ה (וְ) ve. “and”וְתָנ֛וּחַ (וְ) ve. “so”וְתַעֲמֹ֥ד (וְ) ve. “and”

The word of Jehovah that came unto Hosea, the son of Beeri, in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and in the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.

וּבִימֵ֛י (וּ) u. “and”

The beginning of the word of Jehovah through Hosea. And Jehovah said to Hosea, Go, take unto thee a wife of whoredoms, and children of whoredoms; for the land is entirely given up to whoredom, away from Jehovah.

וְיַלְדֵ֣י (וְ) ve. “and”

But I will have mercy upon the house of Judah, and will save them by Jehovah their God; and I will not save them by bow, or by sword, or by battle, [ergänzt: or] by horses, or by horsemen.

וְאֶת־ (וְ) ve. “and”וְלֹ֣א (וְ) ve. “and”וּבְחֶ֙רֶב֙ (וּ) u. “and”וּבְמִלְחָמָ֔ה (וּ) u. “and”וּבְפָרָשִֽׁים׃ (וּ) u. “and”

and he said, Call his name Lo-ammi; for ye are not my people, and I will not be for you.

וְאָנֹכִ֖י (וְ) ve. “and”

Yet the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea which cannot be measured or numbered; and it shall come to pass, [ergänzt: that] in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people, it shall be said unto them, Sons of the living God.

וְלֹ֣א (וְ) ve. “and”

And the children of Judah and the children of Israel shall be gathered together, and they shall appoint themselves one head, and shall go up out of the land: for great is the day of Jizreel.

וּבְנֵֽי־ (וּ) u. “and”

Say unto your brethren Ammi; and to your sisters, Ruhamah.
