And the four tables were of hewn stone for the burnt-offering, of a cubit and a half long, and a cubit and a half broad, and one cubit high: upon which also they laid the instruments with which they slew the burnt-offering and the sacrifice.

וְאַרְבָּעָה֩ (וְ) ve. “and”וָחֵ֙צִי֙ (וָ) va. “and”וְרֹ֨חַב (וְ) ve. “and”וָחֵ֔צִי (וָ) va. “and”וְגֹ֖בַהּ (וְ) ve. “and”וְיַנִּ֤יחוּ (וְ) ve. “so”וְהַזָּֽבַח׃ (וְ) ve. “and”

And within were hooks, a hand broad, fastened around: and upon the tables was the flesh of the offering.

וְהַֽשְׁפַתַּ֗יִם (וְ) ve. “and”וְאֶל־ (וְ) ve. “and”

And without the inner gate were the chambers of the singers in the inner court, which was at the side of the north gate; and their prospect was towards the south: one at the side of the east gate having the prospect towards the north.

וּמִחוּצָה֩ (וּ) u. “and”וּפְנֵיהֶ֖ם (וּ) u. “and”

And the chamber whose prospect is towards the north is for the priests, the keepers of the charge of the altar: these are the sons of Zadok among the sons of Levi, who come near to the LORD to minister to him.

וְהַלִּשְׁכָּ֗ה (וְ) ve. “and”

So he measured the court, a hundred cubits long, and a hundred cubits broad, foursquare; and the altar that was before the house.

וְרֹ֛חַב (וְ) ve. “and”וְהַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ (וְ) ve. “and”

And he brought me to the porch of the house, and measured each post of the porch, five cubits on this side, and five cubits on that side: and the breadth of the gate was three cubits on this side, and three cubits on that side.

וְחָמֵ֥שׁ (וְ) ve. “and”וְרֹ֣חַב (וְ) ve. “and”וְשָׁלֹ֥שׁ (וְ) ve. “and”

The length of the porch was twenty cubits, and the breadth eleven cubits; and he brought me by the steps by which they went up to it: and there were pillars by the posts, one on this side, and another on that side.

וְרֹ֙חַב֙ (וְ) ve. “and”וּבַֽמַּעֲל֔וֹת (וּ) u. “and”וְעַמֻּדִים֙ (וְ) ve. “and”וְאֶחָ֥ד (וְ) ve. “and”

Afterward he brought me to the temple, and measured the posts, six cubits broad on the one side, and six cubits broad on the other side, which was the breadth of the tabernacle.

וְשֵׁשׁ־ (וְ) ve. “and”

And the breadth of the door was ten cubits; and the sides of the door were five cubits on the one side, and five cubits on the other side: and he measured the length of it forty cubits: and the breadth, twenty cubits.

וְרֹ֣חַב (וְ) ve. “and”וְכִתְפ֣וֹת (וְ) ve. “and”וְחָמֵ֥שׁ (וְ) ve. “and”וְרֹ֖חַב (וְ) ve. “and”

Then he went inward, and measured the post of the door, two cubits; and the door, six cubits; and the breadth of the door, seven cubits.

וְהַפֶּ֙תַח֙ (וְ) ve. “and”וְרֹ֥חַב (וְ) ve. “and”

So he measured the length of it twenty cubits; and the breadth, twenty cubits, before the temple: and he said to me, This is the most holy place.

וְרֹ֛חַב (וְ) ve. “and”

Afterward he measured the wall of the house, six cubits; and the breadth of every side-chamber, four cubits, round the house on every side.

וְרֹ֣חַב (וְ) ve. “and”

And the side-chambers were three, one over another, and thirty in order; and they entered into the wall which was of the house for the side-chambers around, that they might have hold, but they had not hold in the wall of the house.

וְהַצְּלָעוֹת֩ (וְ) ve. “and”וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֣ים (וּ) u. “and”וּ֠בָאוֹת (וּ֠) U. “and”וְלֹֽא־ (וְ) ve. “and”

And there was an enlarging, and a winding about still upward to the side-chambers: for the winding about of the house went still upward around the house; therefore the breadth of the house was still upward, and so increased from the lowest chamber to the highest by the midst.

וְכֵ֧ן (וְ) ve. “and”

The thickness of the wall, which was for the side-chamber without, was five cubits: and that which was left was the place of the side-chambers that were within.

וַאֲשֶׁ֣ר (וַ) va. “and”

And between the chambers was the width of twenty cubits around the house on every side.

וּבֵ֨ין (וּ) u. “and”

And the doors of the side-chambers were towards the place that was left, one door towards the north, and another door towards the south: and the breadth of the place that was left was five cubits around.

וּפֶ֤תַח (וּ) u. “and”וּפֶ֥תַח (וּ) u. “and”וְרֹ֙חַב֙ (וְ) ve. “and”

Now the building that was before the separate place at the end towards the west was seventy cubits broad; and the wall of the building was five cubits thick around, and its length ninety cubits.

וְהַבִּנְיָ֡ן (וְ) ve. “and”וְקִ֧יר (וְ) ve. “and”וְאָרְכּ֖וֹ (וְ) ve. “and”

So he measured the house, a hundred cubits long; and the separate place, and the building, with its walls, a hundred cubits long;

וְהַגִּזְרָ֤ה (וְ) ve. “and”וְהַבִּנְיָה֙ (וְ) ve. “and”וְקִ֣ירוֹתֶ֔יהָ (וְ) ve. “and”

Also the breadth of the face of the house, and of the separate place towards the east, a hundred cubits.

וְרֹחַב֩ (וְ) ve. “and”וְהַגִּזְרָ֛ה (וְ) ve. “and”

And he measured the length of the building over against the separate place which was behind it, and its galleries on the one side and on the other side, a hundred cubits, with the inner temple, and the porches of the court;

וְאַתִּיקֶ֛יהָא (וְ) ve. “and”וּמִפּ֖וֹ (וּ) u. “and”וְהַֽהֵיכָל֙ (וְ) ve. “and”וְאֻֽלַמֵּ֖י (וְ) ve. “and”

The door posts, and the narrow windows, and the galleries around on their three stories, over against the door, ceiled with wood around, and from the ground up to the windows, and the windows were covered;

וְהַחַלּוֹנִ֣ים (וְ) ve. “and”וְהָאַתִּיקִ֤ים׀ (וְ) ve. “and”וְהָאָ֙רֶץ֙ (וְ) ve. “and”וְהַֽחַלֹּנ֖וֹת (וְ) ve. “and”

To that above the door, even to the inner house, and without, and by all the wall around within and without, by measure.

וְעַד־ (וְ) ve. “and”וְלַח֜וּץ (וְ) ve. “and”וְאֶל־ (וְ) ve. “and”וּבַחִיצ֖וֹן (וּ) u. “and”

And it was made with cherubim and palm-trees, so that a palm-tree was between a cherub and a cherub; and every cherub had two faces;

וְעָשׂ֥וּי (וְ) ve. “and”וְתִֽמֹרִ֑ים (וְ) ve. “and”וְתִֽמֹרָה֙ (וְ) ve. “and”וּשְׁנַ֥יִם (וּ) u. “and”

So that the face of a man was towards the palm-tree on the one side, and the face of a young lion towards the palm-tree on the other side: it was made through all the house around.
