For it was he that founded it upon seas, and established it upon floods.

וְעַל־ (וְ) ve. “and”

Who shall ascend into the mount of Jehovah? and who shall stand in his holy place?

וּמִי־ (וּ) u. “and”

He that hath blameless hands and a pure heart; who lifteth not up his soul unto vanity, nor sweareth deceitfully:

וּֽבַר־ (וּֽ) u. “and”וְלֹ֖א (וְ) ve. “and”

He shall receive blessing from Jehovah, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

וּ֝צְדָקָ֗ה (וּ֝) u. “and”

Lift up your heads, ye gates, and be ye lifted up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in.

וְֽ֭הִנָּשְׂאוּ (וְֽ֭) Ve. “and”וְ֝יָב֗וֹא (וְ֝) ve. “so”

Who is this King of glory? Jehovah strong and mighty, Jehovah mighty in battle.

וְגִבּ֑וֹר (וְ) ve. “and”

Lift up your heads, ye gates; yea, lift up, ye everlasting doors, and the King of glory shall come in.

וּ֭שְׂאוּ (וּ֭) U. “and”וְ֝יָבֹא (וְ֝) Ve. “so”

Make me to walk in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

וְֽלַמְּדֵ֗נִי (וְֽ) ve. “and”

Remember, Jehovah, thy tender mercies and thy loving-kindnesses; for they are from everlasting.

וַחֲסָדֶ֑יךָ (וַ) va. “and”

Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; according to thy loving-kindness remember thou me, for thy goodness' sake, Jehovah.

וּפְשָׁעַ֗י (וּ) u. “and”

Good and upright is Jehovah; therefore will he instruct sinners in the way:

וְיָשָׁ֥ר (וְ) ve. “and”

The meek will he guide in judgment, and the meek will he teach his way.

וִֽילַמֵּ֖ד (וִֽ) vi. “so”

All the paths of Jehovah are loving-kindness and truth for such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

וֶאֱמֶ֑ת (וֶ) ve. “and”וְעֵדֹתָֽיו׃ (וְ) ve. “and”

His soul shall dwell in prosperity, and his seed shall inherit the earth.

וְ֝זַרְע֗וֹ (וְ֝) ve. “and”

The secret of Jehovah is with them that fear him, that he may make known his covenant to them.

וּ֝בְרִית֗וֹ (וּ֝) u. “and”

Turn toward me, and be gracious unto me; for I am solitary and afflicted.

וְחָנֵּ֑נִי (וְ) ve. “and”וְעָנִ֣י (וְ) ve. “and”

Consider mine affliction and my travail, and forgive all my sins.

וַעֲמָלִ֑י (וַ) va. “and”וְ֝שָׂ֗א (וְ֝) ve. “and”

Consider mine enemies, for they are many, and they hate me [ergänzt: with] cruel hatred.

וְשִׂנְאַ֖ת (וְ) ve. “and”

Keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I trust in thee.

וְהַצִּילֵ֑נִי (וְ) ve. “and”

Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.

וָיֹ֥שֶׁר (וָ) va. “and”

Judge me, O Jehovah, for I have walked in mine integrity, and I have confided in Jehovah: I shall not slip.

וּבַיהוָ֥ה (וּ) vu. “and”

Prove me, Jehovah, and test me; try my reins and my heart:

וְנַסֵּ֑נִי (וְ) ve. “and”וְלִבִּֽי׃ (וְ) ve. “and”

I have not sat with vain persons, neither have I gone in with dissemblers;

וְעִ֥ם (וְ) ve. “and”

I have hated the congregation of evil-doers, and I have not sat with the wicked.

וְעִם־ (וְ) ve. “and”

I will wash my hands in innocency, and will encompass thine altar, O Jehovah,

וַאֲסֹבְבָ֖ה (וַ) va. “and”
