Thou wilt destroy them that speak lies: Jehovah abhorreth a man of blood and deceit.

וּמִרְמָ֗ה (וּ) u. “and”

But as for me, in the greatness of thy loving-kindness will I enter thy house; I will bow down toward the temple of thy holiness in thy fear.

וַאֲנִ֗י (וַ) va. “and”

And all that trust in thee shall rejoice: for ever shall they shout joyously, and thou wilt protect them; and they that love thy name shall exult in thee.

וְיִשְׂמְח֨וּ (וְ) ve. “and”וְתָסֵ֣ךְ (וְ) ve. “and”וְֽיַעְלְצ֥וּ (וְֽ) ve. “and”

Jehovah, rebuke me not in thine anger, and chasten me not in thy hot displeasure.

וְֽאַל־ (וְֽ) ve. “and”

And my soul trembleth exceedingly: and thou, Jehovah, till how long?

וְ֭נַפְשִׁי (וְ֭) Ve. “and”וְאַתָּ֥ה (וְ) ve. “and”

All mine enemies shall be ashamed and tremble exceedingly; they will turn, they will be ashamed suddenly.

וְיִבָּהֲל֣וּ (וְ) ve. “and”

Jehovah my God, in thee have I trusted: save me from all my pursuers, and deliver me;

וְהַצִּילֵֽנִי׃ (וְ) ve. “and”

Lest he tear my soul like a lion, crushing it while there is no deliverer.

וְאֵ֣ין (וְ) ve. “and”

Let the enemy pursue after my soul, and take [ergänzt: it], and let him tread down my life to the earth, and lay my glory in the dust. Selah.

וְיַשֵּׂ֗ג (וְ) ve. “and”וְיִרְמֹ֣ס (וְ) ve. “and”וּכְבוֹדִ֓י׀ (וּ) u. “and”

Arise, Jehovah, in thine anger; lift thyself up against the raging of mine oppressors, and awake for me: thou hast commanded judgment.

וְע֥וּרָה (וְ) ve. “and”

And the assembly of the peoples shall encompass thee; and for their sakes return thou on high.

וַעֲדַ֣ת (וַ) va. “and”וְ֝עָלֶ֗יהָ (וְ֝) ve. “and”

Jehovah shall minister judgment to the peoples. Judge me, Jehovah, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity which is in me.

וּכְתֻמִּ֣י (וּ) u. “and”

Oh let the wrong of the wicked come to an end, and establish thou the righteous [ergänzt: man]; even thou that triest the hearts and reins, the righteous God.

וּתְכוֹנֵ֪ן (וּ) u. “and”וּבֹחֵ֣ן (וּ) u. “and”וּכְלָי֗וֹת (וּ) u. “and”

God is a righteous judge, and a God who is indignant all the day.

וְ֝אֵ֗ל (וְ֝) ve. “and”

And he hath prepared for him instruments of death; his arrows hath he made burning.

וְ֭לוֹ (וְ֭) ve. “and”

His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violence shall come down upon his own pate.

וְעַ֥ל (וְ) ve. “and”

I will praise Jehovah according to his righteousness, and will sing forth the name of Jehovah the Most High.

וַ֝אֲזַמְּרָ֗ה (וַ֝) va. “and”

Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou established praise because of thine adversaries, to still the enemy and the avenger.

וְֽיֹנְקִים֮ (וְֽ) ve. “and”וּמִתְנַקֵּֽם׃ (וּ) u. “and”

When I see thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and stars, which thou hast established;

וְ֝כוֹכָבִ֗ים (וְ֝) ve. “and”

What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?

וּבֶן־ (וּ) u. “and”

Thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and splendour.

וְכָב֖וֹד (וְ) ve. “and”וְהָדָ֣ר (וְ) ve. “and”

Sheep and oxen, all of them, and also the beasts of the field;

וַאֲלָפִ֣ים (וַ) va. “and”וְ֝גַ֗ם (וְ֝) ve. “and”

The fowl of the heavens, and the fishes of the sea, [ergänzt: whatever] passeth through the paths of the seas.

וּדְגֵ֣י (וּ) u. “and”

I will be glad and rejoice in thee; I will sing forth thy name, O Most High.

וְאֶעֶלְצָ֣ה (וְ) ve. “and”

When mine enemies turned back, they stumbled and perished at thy presence:

וְ֝יֹאבְד֗וּ (וְ֝) ve. “and”
