Behold, a day of Jehovah cometh, when thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.

וְחֻלַּ֥ק (וְ) ve. “and”

For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.

וְאָסַפְתִּ֨י (וְ) ve. “and”וְנִלְכְּדָ֣ה (וְ) ve. “and”וְנָשַׁ֙סּוּ֙ (וְ) ve. “and”וְיָצָ֞א (וְ) ve. “and”

Then shall Jehovah go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.

וְיָצָ֣א (וְ) ve. “and”וְנִלְחַ֖ם (וְ) ve. “and”

And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east; and the mount of Olives shall be cleft in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, [ergänzt: and there shall be] a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

וְעָמְד֣וּ (וְ) ve. “and”וְנִבְקַע֩ (וְ) ve. “and”וּמָ֨שׁ (וּ) u. “and”

And ye shall flee by the valley of my mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azel; yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah; and Jehovah my God shall come, and all the holy ones with thee.

And it shall come to pass in that day, that there shall not be light; the bright ones shall withdraw themselves:

וְהָיָ֖ה (וְ) ve. “and”

but it shall be one day which is known unto Jehovah; not day, and not night; but it shall come to pass, that at evening time there shall be light.

וְהָיָ֣ה (וְ) ve. “and”וְהָיָ֥ה (וְ) ve. “and”

And it shall come to pass in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the eastern sea, and half of them toward the western sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.

וְהָיָ֣ה׀ (וְ) ve. “and”

And Jehovah shall be King over all the earth: in that day shall Jehovah be one, and his name one.

וְהָיָ֧ה (וְ) ve. “and”

All the land shall be made like the Arabah, from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; and she shall be lifted up, and shall dwell in her place, from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananel unto the king's wine-presses.

וְֽרָאֲמָה֩ (וְֽ) ve. “and”וְיָשְׁבָ֨ה (וְ) ve. “and”

And men shall dwell therein, and there shall be no more curse; but Jerusalem shall dwell safely.

וְיָ֣שְׁבוּ (וְ) ve. “and”וְיָשְׁבָ֥ה (וְ) ve. “and”

And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from Jehovah shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbor, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbor.

וְהָיָה֙ (וְ) ve. “and”וְהֶחֱזִ֗יקוּ (וְ) ve. “and”וְעָלְתָ֥ה (וְ) ve. “and”

And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the nations round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.

וְאֻסַּף֩ (וְ) ve. “and”

And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations that came against Jerusalem shall go up from year to year to worship the King, Jehovah of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.

וְהָיָ֗ה (וְ) ve. “and”וְעָל֞וּ (וְ) ve. “and”

And it shall be, that whoso of [ergänzt: all] the families of the earth goeth not up unto Jerusalem to worship the King, Jehovah of hosts, upon them there shall be no rain.

וְ֠הָיָה (וְ֠) Ve. “and”

In that day shall there be upon the bells of the horses, HOLY UNTO JEHOVAH; and the pots in Jehovah's house shall be like the bowls before the altar.

וְהָיָ֤ה (וְ) ve. “and”

Yea, every pot in Jerusalem and in Judah shall be holy unto Jehovah of hosts; and all they that sacrifice shall come and take of them, and boil therein: and in that day there shall be no more a Canaanite in the house of Jehovah of hosts.

וְ֠הָיָה (וְ֠) Ve. “and”וּבָ֙אוּ֙ (וּ) u. “and”וְלָקְח֥וּ (וְ) ve. “and”וּבִשְּׁל֣וּ (וּ) u. “and”

I have loved you, saith Jehovah. Yet ye say, Wherein hast thou loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother, saith Jehovah: yet I loved Jacob;

וַאֲמַרְתֶּ֖ם (וַ) va. “and”וָאֹהַ֖ב (וָ) va. “and”

but Esau I hated, and made his mountains a desolation, and [ergänzt: gave] his heritage to the jackals of the wilderness.

וָאָשִׂ֤ים (וָ) va. “and”

Whereas Edom saith, We are beaten down, but we will return and build the waste places; thus saith Jehovah of hosts, They shall build, but I will throw down; and men shall call them The border of wickedness, and The people against whom Jehovah hath indignation for ever.

וְקָרְא֤וּ (וְ) ve. “and”

A son honoreth his father, and a servant his master: if then I am a father, where is mine honor? and if I am a master, where is my fear? saith Jehovah of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And ye say, Wherein have we despised thy name?

וַאֲמַרְתֶּ֕ם (וַ) va. “and”

Ye offer polluted bread upon mine altar. And ye say, Wherein have we polluted thee? In that ye say, The table of Jehovah is contemptible.

וַאֲמַרְתֶּ֖ם (וַ) va. “and”

Ye say also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and ye have snuffed at it, saith Jehovah of hosts; and ye have brought that which was taken by violence, and the lame, and the sick; thus ye bring the offering: should I accept this at your hand? saith Jehovah.

וַאֲמַרְתֶּם֩ (וַ) va. “and”וְהִפַּחְתֶּ֣ם (וְ) ve. “and”וַהֲבֵאתֶ֣ם (וַ) va. “and”וַהֲבֵאתֶ֖ם (וַ) va. “and”

If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my name, saith Jehovah of hosts, then will I send the curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings; yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart.

וְשִׁלַּחְתִּ֤י (וְ) ve. “and”וְאָרוֹתִ֖י (וְ) ve. “and”

Behold, I will rebuke your seed, and will spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your feasts; and ye shall be taken away with it.

וְזֵרִ֤יתִי (וְ) ve. “and”וְנָשָׂ֥א (וְ) ve. “and”
