The voice of Jehovah maketh the hinds to calve, and layeth bare the forests; and in his temple doth every one say, Glory!

וַֽיֶּחֱשֹׂ֪ף (וַֽ) va “and”

Jehovah sitteth upon the flood; yea, Jehovah sitteth as king for ever.

וַיֵּ֥שֶׁב (וַ) va “and”

Jehovah my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.

וַתִּרְפָּאֵֽנִי׃ (וַ) va. “and”

Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing; thou hast loosed my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

וַֽתְּאַזְּרֵ֥נִי (וַֽ) va. “and”

For *he* spoke, and it was [ergänzt: done]; *he* commanded, and it stood fast.

וַיֶּ֑הִי (וַ) va “and”וַֽיַּעֲמֹֽד׃ (וַֽ) Va “and”

I will bless Jehovah at all times; his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

וַֽ֝יְגָרֲשֵׁ֗הוּ (וַֽ֝) va “and”וַיֵּלַֽךְ׃ (וַ) va “and”

I sought Jehovah, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.

וְעָנָ֑נִי (וְ) ve. “and”

They looked unto him, and were enlightened, and their faces were not confounded.

וְנָהָ֑רוּ (וְ) ve. “and”

The angel of Jehovah encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

וַֽיְחַלְּצֵֽם׃ (וַֽ) Va “and”

And they opened their mouth wide against me; they said, Aha! aha! our eye hath seen [ergänzt: it].

וַיַּרְחִ֥יבוּ (וַ) va “and”

and he will bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

וְהוֹצִ֣יא (וְ) ve. “and”

For yet a little while, and the wicked is not; and thou considerest his place, but he is not.

וְהִתְבּוֹנַ֖נְתָּ (וְ) ve. “and”

But the meek shall possess the land, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of prosperity.

וְ֝הִתְעַנְּג֗וּ (וְ֝) ve. “and”

The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the afflicted and needy, to slay those that are upright in [ergänzt: the] way:

וְדָרְכ֪וּ (וְ) ve. “and”

but he passed away, and behold, he was not; and I sought him, but he was not found.

וַ֭יַּֽעֲבֹר (וַ֭) Va “and”וָֽ֝אֲבַקְשֵׁ֗הוּ (וָֽ֝) va. “and”

And Jehovah will help them and deliver them: he will deliver them from the wicked, and save them; for they trust in him.

וַֽיַּעְזְרֵ֥ם (וַֽ) va “and”וַֽיְפַ֫לְּטֵ֥ם (וַֽ) va “and”

For thine arrows stick fast in me, and thy hand cometh down upon me.

וַתִּנְחַ֖ת (וַ) va. “and”

And they that seek after my life lay snares [ergänzt: for me]; and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and meditate deceits all the day long.

וַיְנַקְשׁ֤וּ׀ (וַ) va “and”

Yea, I am as a man that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.

וָאֱהִ֗י (וָ) va. “and”

When thou with rebukes dost correct a man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely, every man is vanity. Selah.

וַתֶּ֣מֶס (וַ) va. “and”

I waited patiently for Jehovah; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

וַיֵּ֥ט (וַ) va “and”וַיִּשְׁמַ֥ע (וַ) va “and”

And he brought me up out of the pit of destruction, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock; he hath established my goings:

וַיַּעֲלֵ֤נִי׀ (וַ) va “and”וַיָּ֖קֶם (וַ) va “and”

And he hath put a new song in my mouth, praise unto our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall confide in Jehovah.

וַיִּתֵּ֬ן (וַ) va “and”

Jehovah will preserve him, and keep him alive; he shall be made happy in the land; and thou wilt not deliver him to the will of his enemies.

וְאֻשַּׁ֣ר (וְ) ve. “and”

Mine enemies wish me evil: When will he die, and his name perish?

וְאָבַ֥ד (וְ) ve. “and”
