And Jehovah will bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I said unto thee, Thou shalt see it again no more; and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and there shall be no man to buy [ergänzt: you].

וֶֽהֱשִֽׁיבְךָ֨ (וֶֽ) ve. “and”וְהִתְמַכַּרְתֶּ֨ם (וְ) ve. “and”

And Moses called to all Israel, and said unto them, Ye have seen all that Jehovah did before your eyes in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his bondmen, and to all his land:

וַיִּקְרָ֥א (וַ) va “and”וַיֹּ֣אמֶר (וַ) va “and”

And I have led you forty years in the wilderness; your clothes are not grown old upon you, and thy sandal is not grown old upon thy foot;

וָאוֹלֵ֥ךְ (וָ) va. “and”

And ye came to this place; and Sihon the king of Heshbon and Og the king of Bashan came out against us for battle, and we smote them.

וַתָּבֹ֖אוּ (וַ) va. “and”וַיֵּצֵ֣א (וַ) va “and”וַנַּכֵּֽם׃ (וַ) va. “and”

And we took their land, and gave it for an inheritance to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the half tribe of the Manassites.

וַנִּקַּח֙ (וַ) va. “and”וַנִּתְּנָ֣הּ (וַ) va. “and”

Ye shall keep then the words of this covenant, and do them, that ye may prosper in all that ye do.

וּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֗ם (וּ) u. “and”וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֖ם (וַ) va. “and”

and ye have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them);

וַתִּרְאוּ֙ (וַ) va. “and”

and it come to pass, when he heareth the words of this curse, that he bless himself in his heart, saying, I shall have peace, though I walk in the stubbornness of my heart, to sweep away the drunken with the thirsty.

וְהָיָ֡ה (וְ) ve. “and”וְהִתְבָּרֵ֨ךְ (וְ) ve. “and”

Jehovah will not pardon him, but the anger of Jehovah and his jealousy will then smoke against that man, and all the curse shall be upon him that is written in this book; and Jehovah will blot out his name from under the heavens;

וְרָ֤בְצָה (וְ) ve. “and”וּמָחָ֤ה (וּ) u. “and”

and Jehovah will separate him for mischief out of all the tribes of Israel, according to all the curses of the covenant that is written in this book of the law.

וְהִבְדִּיל֤וֹ (וְ) ve. “and”

And the generation to come, your children who shall rise up after you, and the foreigner that shall come from a far land, shall say, when they see the plagues of that land, and its sicknesses wherewith Jehovah hath visited it,

וְאָמַ֞ר (וְ) ve. “and”וְ֠רָאוּ (וְ֠) Ve. “and”

even all nations shall say, Why has Jehovah done thus to this land? whence the heat of this great anger?

וְאָֽמְרוּ֙ (וְ) ve. “and”

And men shall say, Because they have forsaken the covenant of Jehovah the God of their fathers, which he had made with them when he brought them forth out of the land of Egypt;

וְאָ֣מְר֔וּ (וְ) ve. “and”

and they went and served other gods, and bowed down to them, gods whom they knew not, and whom he had not assigned to them.

וַיֵּלְכ֗וּ (וַ) va “and”וַיַּֽעַבְדוּ֙ (וַ) va “and”וַיִּֽשְׁתַּחֲוּ֖וּ (וַ) va “and”

And the anger of Jehovah was kindled against this land, to bring upon it all the curse that is written in this book;

וַיִּֽחַר־ (וַ) va “and”

and Jehovah rooted them out of their land in anger, and in fury, and in great indignation, and cast them into another land, as [ergänzt: it appears] this day.

וַיִּתְּשֵׁ֤ם (וַ) va “and”וַיַּשְׁלִכֵ֛ם (וַ) va “and”

And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt take them to heart among all the nations whither Jehovah thy God hath driven thee,

וְהָיָה֩ (וְ) ve. “and”וַהֲשֵׁבֹתָ֙ (וַ) va. “and”

and shalt return to Jehovah thy God, and shalt hearken to his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy sons, with all thy heart and with all thy soul;

וְשַׁבְתָּ֞ (וְ) ve. “and”וְשָׁמַעְתָּ֣ (וְ) ve. “and”

that then Jehovah thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will gather thee again from all the peoples whither Jehovah thy God hath scattered thee.

וְשָׁ֨ב (וְ) ve. “and”וְרִחֲמֶ֑ךָ (וְ) ve. “and”וְשָׁ֗ב (וְ) ve. “and”וְקִבֶּצְךָ֙ (וְ) ve. “and”

and Jehovah thy God will bring thee into the land that thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.

וֶהֱבִֽיאֲךָ֞ (וֶ) ve. “and”וִֽירִשְׁתָּ֑הּ (וִֽ) vi. “and”וְהֵיטִֽבְךָ֥ (וְ) ve. “and”וְהִרְבְּךָ֖ (וְ) ve. “and”

And Jehovah thy God will circumcise thy heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love Jehovah thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

וּמָ֨ל (וּ) u. “and”

And Jehovah thy God will put all these curses on thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, who have persecuted thee.

וְנָתַן֙ (וְ) ve. “and”

But thou shalt return and hearken to the voice of Jehovah, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.

וְשָׁמַעְתָּ֖ (וְ) ve. “and”וְעָשִׂ֙יתָ֙ (וְ) ve. “and”

And Jehovah thy God will make thee abound in every work of thy hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, for good; for Jehovah will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers;

וְהוֹתִֽירְךָ֩ (וְ) ve. “and”

in that I command thee this day to love Jehovah thy God, to walk in his ways, and to keep his commandments and his statutes and his ordinances, that thou mayest live and multiply, and that Jehovah thy God may bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
