But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; but, behold, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me: and I remained there with the kings of Persia.

וְשַׂ֣ר׀ (שַׂ֣ר) Sar “[the] prince of”הַשָּׂרִ֥ים (שָּׂרִ֥ים) sa.Rim “princes”

Then he said, "Do you know why I have come to you? Now I will return to fight with the prince of Persia. When I go forth, behold, the prince of Greece shall come.

שַׂ֣ר sar “[the] prince of”שַׂר־ sar- “[the] prince of”

But I will tell you that which is inscribed in the writing of truth: and there is none who holds with me against these, but Michael your prince."

שַׂרְכֶֽם׃ (שַׂרְ) sar. “prince”

The king of the south shall be strong, and [ergänzt: one] of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.

שָׂרָ֑יו (שָׂרָ֑י) sa.Ra “commanders”

"At that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who stands for the children of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who shall be found written in the book.

הַשַּׂ֣ר (שַּׂ֣ר) Sar “prince”

For the children of Israel shall abide many days without king, and without prince, and without sacrifice, and without sacred stone, and without ephod or idols.

שָׂ֔ר Sar “[will be] a prince”

The princes of Judah are like those who remove a landmark. I will pour out my wrath on them like water.

שָׂרֵ֣י sa.Rei “[the] leaders of”

They make the king glad with their wickedness, And the princes with their lies.

שָׂרִֽים׃ sa.Rim “princes”

On the day of our king, the princes made themselves sick with the heat of wine. He joined his hand with mockers.

שָׂרִ֖ים sa.Rim “princes”

They return, but not to the Most High. They are like a faulty bow. Their princes will fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue. This will be their derision in the land of Egypt.

שָׂרֵיהֶ֖ם (שָׂרֵי) sa.rei. “leaders”

But although they sold themselves among the nations, I will now gather them; and they begin to waste away because of the oppression of the king of mighty ones.

שָׂרִֽים׃ sa.Rim “princes”

"All their wickedness is in Gilgal; For there I hated them. Because of the wickedness of their deeds I will drive them out of my house! I will love them no more. All their princes are rebels.

שָׂרֵיהֶ֖ם (שָׂרֵי) sa.rei. “leaders”

Where is your king now, that he may save you in all your cities? And your judges, of whom you said, 'Give me a king and princes?'

וְשָׂרִֽים׃ (שָׂרִֽים) sa.Rim “leaders”

And their king will go into captivity, He and his princes together," says Yahweh.

וְשָׂרָ֛יו (שָׂרָ֛י) sa.Ra “officials”

And I will cut off the judge from their midst, And will kill all its princes with him," says Yahweh.

Their hands are on that which is evil to do it diligently. The ruler and judge ask for a bribe; And the powerful man dictates the evil desire of his soul. Thus they conspire together.

הַשַּׂ֣ר (שַּׂ֣ר) Sar “official”

It will happen in the day of Yahweh's sacrifice, that I will punish the princes, the king's sons, and all those who as are clothed with foreign clothing.

הַשָּׂרִ֖ים (שָּׂרִ֖ים) sa.Rim “princes”

Her princes in the midst of her are roaring lions. Her judges are evening wolves. They leave nothing until the next day.
