But ten men were found among them that said unto Ishmael, Slay us not; for we have stores hidden in the field, of wheat, and of barley, and of oil, and of honey. So he forbare, and slew them not among their brethren.

וּשְׂעֹרִ֖ים (שְׂעֹרִ֖ים) se.'o.Rim “barley<s>”

Take thou also unto thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread thereof; [ergänzt: according to] the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, even three hundred and ninety days, shalt thou eat thereof.

וּ֠שְׂעֹרִים (שְׂעֹרִים) se.'o.rim “barley<s>”

And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it in their sight with dung that cometh out of man.

שְׂעֹרִ֖ים se.'o.Rim “barley<s>”

And ye have profaned me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hearken unto lies.

This is the oblation that ye shall offer: the sixth part of an ephah from a homer of wheat; and ye shall give the sixth part of an ephah from a homer of barley;

הַשְּׂעֹרִֽים׃ (שְּׂעֹרִֽים) se.'o.Rim “barley<s>”

So I bought her to me for fifteen [ergänzt: pieces] of silver, and a homer of barley, and a half-homer of barley;

Be confounded, O ye husbandmen, wail, O ye vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; for the harvest of the field is perished.
