That the triumphing of the wicked is short, And the joy of the godless but for a moment?

רְ֭שָׁעִים Re.sha.'im “wicked [people]”

This is the portion of a wicked man from God, And the heritage appointed unto him by God.

רָ֭שָׁע Ra.sho' “wicked”

Wherefore do the wicked live, Become old, yea, wax mighty in power?

רְשָׁעִ֣ים re.sha.'Im “wicked [people]”

Lo, their prosperity is not in their hand: The counsel of the wicked is far from me.

רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים re.sha.'Im “wicked [people]”

How oft is it that the lamp of the wicked is put out? That their calamity cometh upon them? That [ergänzt: God] distributeth sorrows in his anger?

רְשָׁ֘עִ֤ים re.Sha.'Im “wicked [people]”

For ye say, Where is the house of the prince? And where is the tent wherein the wicked dwelt?

רְשָׁעִֽים׃ re.sha.'Im “wicked [people]”

Yet he filled their houses with good things: But the counsel of the wicked is far from me.

רְ֝שָׁעִ֗ים re.sha.'Im “wicked [people]”

They cut their provender in the field; And they glean the vintage of the wicked.

רָשָׁ֣ע ra.Sha' “[the] wicked”

Let mine enemy be as the wicked, And let him that riseth up against me be as the unrighteous.

כְ֭רָשָׁע (רָשָׁע) ra.sho' “a wicked [person]”

This is the portion of a wicked man with God, And the heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty:

רָשָׁ֥ע׀ ra.Sha' “wicked”

[ergänzt: Him] that saith to a king, [ergänzt: Thou art] vile, [ergänzt: Or] to nobles, [ergänzt: Ye are] wicked;

רָ֝שָׁ֗ע ra.Sha' “wicked [one]”

He striketh them as wicked men In the open sight of others;

רְשָׁעִ֥ים re.sha.'Im “wicked [people]”

He preserveth not the life of the wicked, But giveth to the afflicted [ergänzt: their] right.

רָשָׁ֑ע ra.Sha' “[the] wicked”

But thou art full of the judgment of the wicked: Judgment and justice take hold [ergänzt: on thee].

רָשָׁ֥ע ra.Sha' “[the] wicked”

That it might take hold of the ends of the earth, And the wicked be shaken out of it?

רְשָׁעִ֣ים re.sha.'Im “wicked [people]”

And from the wicked their light is withholden, And the high arm is broken.

מֵרְשָׁעִ֣ים (רְשָׁעִ֣ים) re.sha.'Im “wicked [people]”

Look on every one that is proud, [ergänzt: and] bring him low; And tread down the wicked where they stand.

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, Nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of scoffers:

The wicked are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

הָרְשָׁעִ֑ים (רְשָׁעִ֑ים) re.sha.'Im “wicked [people]”

Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

רְ֭שָׁעִים Re.sha.'im “wicked [people]”

For Jehovah knoweth the way of the righteous; But the way of the wicked shall perish.

רְשָׁעִ֣ים re.sha.'Im “wicked [people]”

Arise, O Jehovah; save me, O my God: For thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; Thou hast broken the teeth of the wicked.

רְשָׁעִ֣ים re.sha.'Im “wicked [people]”

O let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish thou the righteous: For the righteous God trieth the minds and hearts.

רְשָׁעִים֮ re.sha.'Im “wicked [people]”

Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked; Thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever.

רָשָׁ֑ע ra.Sha' “[the] wicked”

Jehovah hath made himself known, he hath executed judgment: The wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah
