Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? Was not my soul grieved for the needy?

לִקְשֵׁה־ (קְשֵׁה) k.sheh- “[the] hard of”

Thou hast showed thy people hard things: Thou hast made us to drink the wine of staggering.

קָשָׁ֑ה ka.Shah “a hard [thing]”

Set me as a seal upon thy heart, As a seal upon thine arm: For love is strong as death; Jealousy is cruel as Sheol; The flashes thereof are flashes of fire, A very flame of Jehovah.

And it shall come to pass in the day that Jehovah shall give thee rest from thy sorrow, and from thy trouble, and from the hard service wherein thou wast made to serve,

הַקָּשָׁ֖ה (קָּשָׁ֖ה) ka.Shah “hard”

In that day Jehovah with his hard and great and strong sword will punish leviathan the swift serpent, and leviathan the crooked serpent; and he will slay the monster that is in the sea.

In measure, when thou sendest them away, thou dost content with them; he hath removed [ergänzt: them] with his rough blast in the day of the east wind.
