And the terror of Jehovah was upon all the kingdoms of the lands that were round about Judah, and they made no war against Jehoshaphat.

סְבִיב֣וֹת se.vi.Vot “[were] around”

And the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet; and his God gave him rest round about.

מִסָּבִֽיב׃ (סָּבִֽיב) sa.Viv “round about”

And the Levites shall encompass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand; and he that comes into the house shall be put to death; and ye shall be with the king when he comes in and when he goes out.

סָבִ֗יב sa.Viv “all around”

And he set all the people, every man with his javelin in his hand, from the right side of the house to the left side of the house, toward the altar and the house, by the king round about.

And [ergänzt: so did he] in the cities of Manasseh and Ephraim and Simeon, even to Naphtali, in their ruins round about;

סָבִֽיב׃ sa.Viv “all around”

And all they that were about them strengthened their hands with articles of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, besides all that was willingly offered.

סְבִיבֹֽתֵיהֶם֙ (סְבִיבֹֽתֵי) se.vi.vo.tei. “around”

And there were at my table a hundred and fifty of the Jews and the rulers, besides those that came to us from among the nations that were about us.

סְבִיבֹתֵ֖ינוּ (סְבִיבֹתֵ֖י) se.vi.vo.Tei. “[were] around”

And it came to pass that when all our enemies heard [ergänzt: of it], all the nations that were about us were afraid and were much cast down in their own eyes, and they perceived that this work was wrought by our God.

And the children of the singers were assembled, both from the plain [ergänzt: of Jordan] round about Jerusalem, and from the villages of the Netophathites,

סְבִיב֣וֹת se.vi.Vot “around”

also from Beth-Gilgal, and out of the fields of Geba and Azmaveth; for the singers had built themselves hamlets round about Jerusalem.

Thy hands have bound me together and made me as one, round about; yet dost thou swallow me up!

סָ֝בִ֗יב sa.Viv “all around”

His troops have come together and cast up their way against me, and have encamped round about my tent.

סָבִ֣יב sa.Viv “all around”

Therefore snares are round about thee, and sudden fear troubleth thee;

סְבִיבוֹתֶ֣יךָ (סְבִיבוֹתֶ֣י) se.vi.vo.Tei. “[are] around”

When the Almighty was yet with me, my young men round about me;

סְבִ֖יבוֹתַ֣י (סְבִ֖יבוֹתַ֣) se.Vi.vo.Ta “[were] around”

Who can open the doors of his face? Round about his teeth is terror.

סְבִיב֖וֹת se.vi.Vot “[is] around”

I will not fear for myriads of the people that have set themselves against me round about.

סָ֝בִ֗יב sa.Viv “all around”

He made darkness his secret place, his tent round about him: darkness of waters, thick clouds of the skies.

סְבִֽיבוֹתָ֥יו (סְבִֽיבוֹתָ֥י) se.vi.vo.Ta “around”

And now shall my head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me; and I will offer in his tent sacrifices of shouts of joy: I will sing, yea, I will sing psalms unto Jehovah.

The angel of Jehovah encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.

סָ֘בִ֤יב sa.Viv “around”

Thou makest us a reproach to our neighbours, a mockery and a derision for them that are round about us;

לִסְבִיבוֹתֵֽינוּ׃ (סְבִיבוֹתֵֽי) s.vi.vo.Tei. “[those] around”

Our God will come, and will not keep silence: fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.

וּ֝סְבִיבָ֗יו (סְבִיבָ֗י) se.vi.Va “around”

Vow and pay unto Jehovah your God: let all that are round about him bring presents unto him that is to be feared.

סְבִיבָ֑יו (סְבִיבָ֑י) se.vi.Va “[those] around”

And he let it fall in the midst of their camp, round about their habitations:

סָ֝בִ֗יב sa.Viv “around”

Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem, and there was none to bury [ergänzt: them].
