H4159–מוֹפֵת–mo.phet

Behold, I and the children that Jehovah hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel, from Jehovah of hosts, who dwelleth in mount Zion.

וּלְמוֹפְתִ֖ים (מוֹפְתִ֖ים) mof.Tim “portents”

And Jehovah said, Like as my servant Isaiah hath walked naked and barefoot three years, a sign and a wonder concerning Egypt and concerning Ethiopia,

וּמוֹפֵ֔ת (מוֹפֵ֔ת) mo.Fet “a portent”

who hast displayed signs and wonders unto this day, in the land of Egypt and in Israel and among [ergänzt: other] men; and hast made thee a name, as at this day.

וּמֹפְתִ֤ים (מֹפְתִ֤ים) mo.fe.Tim “wonders”

And thou broughtest forth thy people Israel out of the land of Egypt by signs, and by wonders, and by a powerful hand, and by a stretched-out arm, and by great terror;

וּבְמוֹפְתִ֗ים (מוֹפְתִ֗ים) mof.Tim “wonders”

In their sight shalt thou bear [ergänzt: it] upon [ergänzt: thy] shoulder, and carry it forth in the dark; thou shalt cover thy face, and thou shalt not see the ground: for I have appointed thee for a sign unto the house of Israel.

מוֹפֵ֥ת mo.Fet “a sign”

Say, I am your sign: as I have done, so shall it be done unto them: they shall go into exile, into captivity.

מֽוֹפֶתְכֶ֑ם (מֽוֹפֶתְ) mo.fet. “[am] sign”

Thus Ezekiel shall be unto you a sign; according to all that he hath done shall ye do: when it cometh, then ye shall know that I [ergänzt: am] the Lord Jehovah.

לְמוֹפֵ֔ת (מוֹפֵ֔ת) mo.Fet “a sign”

In that day shall thy mouth be opened to him that is escaped, and thou shalt speak, and be no more dumb. So shalt thou be a sign unto them; and they shall know that I [ergänzt: am] Jehovah.

And I will shew wonders in the heavens and on the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.

Hear now, Joshua the high priest, thou and thy fellows that sit before thee -- for they are men of portent -- for behold, I will bring forth my servant the Branch.
