H3409–יָרֵךְ–ya.rekh

And the brazen altar which was before Jehovah, he brought forward from the forefront of the house, from between [ergänzt: his] altar and the house of Jehovah, and put it by the side of [ergänzt: his] altar on the north.

יֶ֥רֶךְ Ye.rekh “[the] side of”

Gird thy sword upon [ergänzt: thy] thigh, O mighty one, [ergänzt: in] thy majesty and thy splendour;

יָרֵ֣ךְ ya.Rekh “a thigh”

They all hold the sword, Experts in war; Each hath his sword upon his thigh Because of alarm in the nights.

How beautiful are thy footsteps in sandals, O prince's daughter! The roundings of thy thighs are like jewels, The work of the hands of an artist.

יְרֵכַ֔יִךְ (יְרֵכַ֔יִ) ye.re.Kha.yi “thighs”

Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after I knew myself, I smote upon [ergänzt: my] thigh. I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, for I bear the reproach of my youth.

יָרֵ֑ךְ ya.Rekh “a thigh”

Cry and howl, son of man; for it shall be against my people, it shall be against all the princes of Israel: they are given up to the sword along with my people: smite therefore upon the thigh.

Gather the pieces thereof into it, every good piece, the thigh and the shoulder; fill [ergänzt: it] with the choice bones:
