H3389–יְרוּשָׁלִַ֫ם, יְרוּשְׁלֵם–ye.ru.sha.laim

For the transgression of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?

יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ ye.ru.sha.Lim “[is it] Jerusalem”

For her wound is incurable; for it is come even unto Judah; it reacheth unto the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.

יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ ye.ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

For the inhabitant of Maroth waiteth anxiously for good; because evil is come down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.

יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ ye.ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

That build up Zion with blood, and Jerusalem with iniquity.

וִירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם (ירוּשָׁלִַ֖ם) ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

Therefore shall Zion for your sake be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.

וִירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ (ירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙) ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

And many nations shall go and say: 'Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths'; for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the

מִירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ (ירוּשָׁלִָֽם) ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

And thou, Migdal-eder, the hill of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come; yea, the former dominion shall come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.

יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ ye.ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

And I will stretch out My hand upon Judah, and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and I will cut off the remnant of Baal from this place, and the name of the idolatrous priests with the priests;

יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם ye.ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

And it shall come to pass at that time, that I will search Jerusalem with lamps; and I will punish the men that are settled on their lees, that say in their heart: 'The LORD will not do good, neither will He do evil.'

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם ye.ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

Sing, O daughter of Zion, shout, O Israel; be glad and rejoice with all the heart, O daughter of Jerusalem.

יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ ye.ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem: 'Fear thou not; O Zion, let not thy hands be slack.

לִירֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם (ירֽוּשָׁלִַ֖ם) ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

Then the angel of the LORD spoke and said: 'O LORD of hosts, how long wilt Thou not have compassion on Jerusalem and on the cities of Judah, against which Thou hast had indignation these threescore and ten years?

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם ye.ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

so the angel that spoke with me said unto me: 'Proclaim thou, saying: Thus saith the LORD of hosts: I am jealous for Jerusalem and for Zion with a great jealousy;

לִירוּשָׁלִַ֛ם (ירוּשָׁלִַ֛ם) ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

Therefore thus saith the LORD: I return to Jerusalem with compassions: My house shall be built in it, saith the LORD of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth over Jerusalem.

לִירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ (ירוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙) ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ ye.ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

Again, proclaim, saying: Thus saith the LORD of hosts: My cities shall again overflow with prosperity; and the LORD shall yet comfort Zion, and shall yet choose Jerusalem.'

בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ (ירוּשָׁלִָֽם) ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

And I said unto the angel that spoke with me: 'What are these?' And he said unto me: 'These are the horns which have scattered Judah, Israel, and Jerusalem.'

וִירוּשָׁלָֽם׃ (ירוּשָׁלָֽם) ru.sha.Lam “Jerusalem”

Then said I: 'Whither goest thou?' And he said unto me: 'To measure Jerusalem, to see what is the breadth thereof, and what is the length thereof.'

יְר֣וּשָׁלִַ֔ם ye.Ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

and said unto him: 'Run, speak to this young man, saying: 'Jerusalem shall be inhabited without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein.

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֔ם ye.ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

And the LORD shall inherit Judah as His portion in the holy land, and shall choose Jerusalem again.

בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ (ירוּשָׁלִָֽם) ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

And the LORD said unto Satan: 'The LORD rebuke thee, O Satan, yea, the LORD that hath chosen Jerusalem rebuke thee; is not this man a brand plucked out of the fire?'

בִּירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם (ירֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם) ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

Should ye not hearken to the words which the LORD hath proclaimed by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and in prosperity, and the cities thereof round about her, and the South and the Lowland were inhabited?'

יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ ye.ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

Thus saith the LORD: I return unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and Jerusalem shall be called The city of truth; and the mountain of the LORD of hosts The holy mountain.

יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם ye.ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”יְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ ye.ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

Thus saith the LORD of hosts: There shall yet old men and old women sit in the broad places of Jerusalem, every man with his staff in his hand for very age.

יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם ye.ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

And I will bring them, and they shall dwell in the midst of Jerusalem; and they shall be My people, and I will be their God, in truth and in righteousness.

יְרוּשָׁלִָ֑ם ye.ru.sha.Lim “Jerusalem”

so again do I purpose in these days to do good unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah; fear ye not.
