H3381–יָרַד–ya.rad

There is Edom, her kings and all her princes, who for all their might are laid with them that are slain by the sword; they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with them that go down to the pit.

יֹ֥רְדֵי Yo.re.dei “[those who] go down of”

There are the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians, who are gone down with the slain, ashamed for all the terror which they caused by their might, and they lie uncircumcised with them that are slain by the sword, and bear their shame

יָרְד֣וּ ya.re.Du “they have gone down”י֥וֹרְדֵי Yor.dei “[those who] go down of”

And I will make them and the places round about My hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in its season; there shall be showers of blessing.

וְהוֹרַדְתִּ֤י (הוֹרַדְתִּ֤י) ho.rad.Ti “I will bring down”

And he brought me back unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward, for the forefront of the house looked toward the east; and the waters came down from under, from the right side of the house

יֹרְדִ֗ים yo.re.Dim “[were] going down”

Then said he unto me: 'These waters issue forth toward the eastern region, and shall go down into the Arabah; and when they shall enter into the sea, into the sea of the putrid waters, the waters shall be healed.

וְיָרְד֖וּ (יָרְד֖וּ) ya.re.Du “they will go down”

Even as they go, I will spread My net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven; I will chastise them, as their congregation hath been made to hear.

אֽוֹרִידֵ֑ם (אֽוֹרִידֵ֑) 'o.ri.De “I will bring down”

Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God; for He giveth you the former rain in just measure, and He causeth to come down for you the rain, the former rain and the latter rain, at the first.

וַיּ֣וֹרֶד (יּ֣וֹרֶד) i.Yo.red “he has sent down”

I will gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat; and I will enter into judgment with them there for My people and for My heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and divided My land.

וְה֣וֹרַדְתִּ֔ים (ה֣וֹרַדְתִּ֔י) Ho.rad.Ti “I will bring down”

Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: An adversary, even round about the land! And he shall bring down thy strength from thee, and thy palaces shall be spoiled.

וְהוֹרִ֤ד (הוֹרִ֤ד) ho.Rid “he will bring down”

Pass ye unto Calneh, and see, and from thence go ye to Hamath the great; then go down to Gath of the Philistines; are they better than these kingdoms? or is their border greater than your border?

וּרְד֣וּ (רְד֣וּ) re.Du “go down”

Though they dig into the nether-world, thence shall My hand take them; and though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down.

אוֹרִידֵֽם׃ (אוֹרִידֵֽ) 'o.ri.De “I will bring down”

The pride of thy heart hath beguiled thee, O thou that dwellest in the clefts of the rock, thy habitation on high; that sayest in thy heart: 'Who shall bring me down to the ground?'

יוֹרִדֵ֖נִי (יוֹרִדֵ֖) yo.ri.De. “will he bring down”

Though thou make thy nest as high as the eagle, and though thou set it among the stars, I will bring thee down from thence, saith the LORD.

אוֹרִֽידְךָ֖ (אוֹרִֽידְ) 'o.ri.de. “I will bring down”

But Jonah rose up to flee unto Tarshish from the presence of the LORD; and he went down to Joppa, and found a ship going to Tarshish; so he paid the fare thereof, and went down into it, to go with them unto Tarshish, from the presence of the LORD.

And the mariners were afraid, and cried every man unto his god; and they cast forth the wares that were in the ship into the sea, to lighten it unto them. But Jonah was gone down into the innermost parts of the ship; and he lay, and was fast asleep.

יָרַד֙ ya.Rad “he had gone down”

I went down to the bottoms of the mountains; the earth with her bars closed upon me for ever; yet hast Thou brought up my life from the pit, O LORD my God.

יָרַ֔דְתִּי ya.Rad.ti “I went down”

For, behold, the LORD cometh forth out of His place, and will come down, and tread upon the high places of the earth.

וְיָרַ֥ד (יָרַ֥ד) ya.Rad “he will come down”

For the inhabitant of Maroth waiteth anxiously for good; because evil is come down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem.

יָ֤רַד Ya.rad “it has come down”

and I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his br

And over the sea affliction shall pass, and the waves shall be smitten in the sea, and all the depths of the Nile shall dry up; and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.

וְהוּרַד֙ (הוּרַד֙) hu.Rad “it will be brought down”

Wail, O cypress-tree, for the cedar is fallen; because the glorious ones are spoiled; wail, O ye oaks of Bashan, for the strong forest is come down.

יָרַ֖ד ya.Rad “it has come down”
