Slay all her bullocks; let them go down to the slaughter: woe to them! for their day is come, the time of their visitation.

יֵרְד֖וּ ye.re.Du “let them go down”

I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with he-goats.

אֽוֹרִידֵ֖ם (אֽוֹרִידֵ֖) 'o.ri.De “I will bring down”

Her filthiness is in her skirts; she remembereth not her last end; therefore she hath been wonderfully abased: she had no comforter. O LORD, behold my affliction: for the enemy hath magnified himself.

וַתֵּ֣רֶד (תֵּ֣רֶד) Te.red “she has come down”

For these things I weep; my eye, my eye runneth down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed.

יֹ֣רְדָה Yo.re.dah “[is] going down”

The elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the ground, and keep silence: they have cast up dust upon their heads; they have girded themselves with sackcloth: the virgins of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground.

הוֹרִ֤ידוּ ho.Ri.du “they have brought down”

Their heart cried to the Lord, O wall of the daughter of Zion, let tears run down like a river day and night: give thyself no rest; let not the apple of thy eye cease.

הוֹרִ֨ידִי ho.Ri.di “send down”

My eye runneth down with rivers of water for the destruction of the daughter of my people.

תֵּרַ֣ד te.Rad “it goes down”

With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all thy streets: he shall slay thy people by the sword, and thy strong garrisons shall go down to the ground.

תֵּרֵֽד׃ te.Red “it will come down”

Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay away their robes, and put off their broidered garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble at every moment, and be astonished at thee.

וְֽיָרְד֞וּ (יָרְד֞וּ) ya.re.Du “they will go down”

When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living;

וְהוֹרַדְתִּיךְ֩ (הוֹרַדְתִּי) ho.rad.ti “I will send down”י֨וֹרְדֵי Yor.dei “[those who] have gone down of”י֣וֹרְדֵי Yor.dei “[those who] have gone down of”

And all that handle the oar, the mariners, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;

וְֽיָרְד֞וּ (יָרְד֞וּ) ya.re.Du “they will come down”

They shall bring thee down to the pit, and thou shalt die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.

יֽוֹרִד֑וּךָ (יֽוֹרִד֑וּ) yo.ri.Du. “they will bring down”

Thus saith the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord GOD.

וְיָרַ֖ד (יָרַ֖ד) ya.Rad “it will come down”

And strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth have gone down from his shade, and have left him.

וַיֵּרְד֧וּ (יֵּרְד֧וּ) i.ye.re.Du “they went down”

To the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their hight, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their hight, all that drink water: for they are all delivered to death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.

י֥וֹרְדֵי Yor.dei “[those who] go down of”

Thus saith the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained its floods, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.

רִדְתּ֤וֹ (רִדְתּ֤) rid.T “went down”

I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to the grave with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.

בְּהוֹרִדִ֥י (הוֹרִדִ֥) ho.ri.D “brought down”י֣וֹרְדֵי Yor.dei “[those who] go down of”

They also went down into the grave with him to them that are slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shade in the midst of the heathen.

יָרְד֥וּ ya.re.Du “they went down”

To whom art thou thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shalt thou be brought down with the trees of Eden to the nether parts of the earth: thou shalt lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that are slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, saith the Lord GOD.

וְהוּרַדְתָּ֨ (הוּרַדְתָּ֨) hu.rad.Ta “you will be brought down”

Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, to the nether parts of the earth, with them that go down into the pit.

וְהוֹרִדֵ֑הוּ (הוֹרִדֵ֑) ho.ri.De. “bring down”י֥וֹרְדֵי Yor.dei “[those who] go down of”

Whom dost thou pass in beauty? go down, and be thou laid with the uncircumcised.

רְדָ֥ה (רְדָ֥) re.Da “go down”

The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of the grave with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword.

יָֽרְד֛וּ ya.re.Du “they have come down”

There is Elam and all her multitude around her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, who are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, who caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.

They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves are around him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of them that are slain.

And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, who are gone down to the grave, with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.
