Thou hast with [ergänzt: thine] arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

וְיוֹסֵ֣ף (יוֹסֵ֣ף) yo.Sef “Joseph”

And he rejected the tent of Joseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim,

Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that sittest [ergänzt: between] the cherubim, shine forth.

He sent a man before them: Joseph was sold for a bondman.

And thou, son of man, take thee one stick, and write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel, his companions. And take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and all the house of Israel, his companions.

לְיוֹסֵף֙ (יוֹסֵף֙) yo.Sef “Joseph”

say unto them, Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Behold, I will take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel his companions, and will put them with this, with the stick of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in my hand.

Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: This shall be the border whereby ye shall allot the land as inheritance according to the twelve tribes of Israel: Joseph [ergänzt: shall have two] portions.

And at the east side four thousand and five hundred, and three gates: the gate of Joseph, one; the gate of Benjamin, one; the gate of Dan, one.

Seek Jehovah, and ye shall live; lest he break out like fire in the house of Joseph, and devour [ergänzt: it], and there be none to quench [ergänzt: it] in Bethel.

Hate evil, and love good, and establish judgment in the gate: it may be that Jehovah, the God of hosts, will be gracious unto the remnant of Joseph.

that drink wine in bowls, and anoint themselves with the chief ointments; but are not grieved for the breach of Joseph.

And the house of Jacob shall be a fire, and the house of Joseph a flame, and the house of Esau for stubble; and they shall kindle in them and devour them; and there shall not be any remaining of the house of Esau: for Jehovah hath spoken [ergänzt: it].

And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them back again; for I will have mercy upon them; and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am Jehovah their God, and I will answer them.
