And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah: and all the singing men and singing women spake of Josiah in their lamentations unto this day; and they made them an ordinance in Israel: and, behold, they are written in the lamentations.

לְחֹ֖ק (חֹ֖ק) Chok “a decree”

For Ezra had set his heart to seek the law of Jehovah, and to do it, and to teach in Israel statutes and ordinances.

חֹ֥ק chok “decree”

Now this is the copy of the letter that the king Artaxerxes gave unto Ezra the priest, the scribe, even the scribe of the words of the commandments of Jehovah, and of his statutes to Israel:

וְחֻקָּ֖יו (חֻקָּ֖י) chu.Ka “statutes”

we have dealt very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the ordinances, which thou commandedst thy servant Moses.

הַֽחֻקִּים֙ (חֻקִּים֙) chu.Kim “statutes”

Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right ordinances and true laws, good statutes and commandments,

חֻקִּ֥ים chu.Kim “statutes”

and madest known unto them thy holy sabbath, and commandedst them commandments, and statutes, and a law, by Moses thy servant,

וְחֻקִּים֙ (חֻקִּים֙) chu.Kim “statutes”

They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God's law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of Jehovah our Lord, and his ordinances and his statutes;

וְחֻקָּֽיו׃ (חֻקָּֽי) chu.Ka “statutes”

When he made a decree for the rain, And a way for the lightning of the thunder;

חֹ֑ק Chok “a decree”

I will tell of the decree: Jehovah said unto me, Thou art my son; This day have I begotten thee.

חֹ֥ק chok “[the] decree of”

But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, And that thou hast taken my covenant in thy mouth,

חֻקָּ֑י (חֻקָּ֑) chu.Ka “decrees”

For it is a statute for Israel, An ordinance of the God of Jacob.

חֹ֣ק chok “[is] a decree”

Shall the throne of wickedness have fellowship with thee, Which frameth mischief by statute?

חֹֽק׃ Chok “a decree”

He spake unto them in the pillar of cloud: They kept his testimonies, And the statute that he gave them.

וְחֹ֣ק (חֹ֣ק) Chok “a decree”

And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a statute, To Israel for an everlasting covenant,

לְחֹ֑ק (חֹ֑ק) Chok “a decree”

That they might keep his statutes, And observe his laws. Praise ye Jehovah.

חֻ֭קָּיו (חֻ֭קָּי) Chu.ka “decrees”

Oh that my ways were established To observe thy statutes!

חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃ (חֻקֶּֽי) chu.Kei. “decrees”

I will observe thy statutes: Oh forsake me not utterly.

חֻקֶּ֥יךָ (חֻקֶּ֥י) chu.Kei. “decrees”

Blessed art thou, O Jehovah: Teach me thy statutes.

חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃ (חֻקֶּֽי) chu.Kei. “decrees”

Princes also sat and talked against me; [ergänzt: But] thy servant did meditate on thy statutes.

בְּחֻקֶּֽיךָ׃ (חֻקֶּֽי) chu.Kei. “decrees”

I declared my ways, and thou answeredst me: Teach me thy statutes.

חֻקֶּֽיךָ׃ (חֻקֶּֽי) chu.Kei. “decrees”

HE. Teach me, O Jehovah, the way of thy statutes; And I shall keep it unto the end.

חֻקֶּ֗יךָ (חֻקֶּ֗י) chu.Kei. “decrees”

I will lift up my hands also unto thy commandments, which I have loved; And I will meditate on thy statutes.

בְחֻקֶּֽיךָ׃ (חֻקֶּֽי) chu.Kei. “decrees”

Thy statutes have been my songs In the house of my pilgrimage.

חֻקֶּ֗יךָ (חֻקֶּ֗י) chu.Kei. “decrees”

The earth, O Jehovah, is full of thy lovingkindness: Teach me thy statutes.

Thou art good, and doest good; Teach me thy statutes.
