H2233H–זֶ֫רַע–ze.ra

But fear not thou, O Jacob My servant, neither be dismayed, O Israel; for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall again be quiet and at ease, and none shall make him afraid.

זַרְעֲךָ֖ (זַרְעֲ) zar.'a. “offspring”

But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself; his seed is spoiled, and his brethren, and his neighbours, and he is not.

and he took of the seed royal, and made a covenant with him, and brought him under an oath, and the mighty of the land he took away;

מִזֶּ֣רַע (זֶּ֣רַע) Ze.ra' “[the] offspring of”

and say unto them: Thus saith the Lord GOD: In the day when I chose Israel, and lifted up My hand unto the seed of the house of Jacob, and made Myself known unto them in the land of Egypt, when I lifted up My hand unto them, saying: I am the LORD your Go

לְזֶ֙רַע֙ (זֶ֙רַע֙) Ze.ra' “[the] offspring of”

Thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that are of the seed of Zadok, who are near unto Me, to minister unto Me, saith the Lord GOD, a young bullock for a sin-offering.

מִזֶּ֨רַע (זֶּ֨רַע) Ze.ra' “[the] offspring of”

Neither shall they take for their wives a widow, nor her that is put away; but they shall take virgins of the seed of the house of Israel, or a widow that is the widow of a priest.

And the king spoke unto Ashpenaz his chief officer, that he should bring in certain of the children of Israel, and of the seed royal, and of the nobles,

וּמִזֶּ֥רַע (זֶּ֥רַע) Ze.ra' “[the] offspring of”

In the first year of Darius the son of Ahasuerus, of the seed of the Medes, who was made king over the realm of the Chaldeans;

Behold, I will rebuke the seed for your hurt, and will spread dung upon your faces, even the dung of your sacrifices; and ye shall be taken away unto it.

הַזֶּ֔רַע (זֶּ֔רַע) Ze.ra' “offspring”

And not one hath done so who had exuberance of spirit! For what seeketh the one? a seed given of God. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.
